At one point years ago I moved to Atwells Avenue just to be closer to this bar. In my humble estimation, this place is nearly impossible to beat.

Over the course of more than a decade of patronage here I've met lifelong friends, received advice that's altered my course for the better, cried on shoulders and been the shoulder cried upon. Marriages and children have emerged from inside the walls, and the pains of relationships crumbling apart have been assuaged by the staff and regular clientele, dependably there to remind one of the good to come.

Tammany Hall is hands-down my favorite cigar lounge in Providence! Located right on Federal Hill, it’s just steps away from some of the city’s best restaurants, making it the perfect spot to start or end a night out. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, and the experience never disappoints—the staff is always welcoming, and the management is top-notch. One of the best places in RI to grab a drink and cigar. Located on historic Federal Hill, it's a great place to sit outside in the warmer weather and soak in the atmosphere and energy of the Hill. Staff are friendly and professional. Pub food is excellent. Drink and cigar selection is on point. The crowd is a healthy mix of young and old (mostly on a Friday and Saturday night).
