On 8/15/21 at around 530pm We were about to leave RI to head home and decided to do a quick restuarant vs a nice sit down to save time. Big mistake choosing this Wendy's. We placed our order and waited over 30 minutes to get our food. The place wasn't even busy. There was a manager Making sandwiches, running back and fourth and legit leaving sandwiches half made in order to go do ther things.. he seemed like he had no clue what he was doing.There was also a cashier that asked a few times if she could help him but he kept telling her no. She did however argue with me when she said my sisters order was ready and I told her that wasn't the right order. She said it was and I said it wasn't and she went as far as to pull of the order to try and prove me wrong but instead proved me right and made herself look pretty dumb. Then a second time she said it was the order and I told her it was missing two burgers still. She grabbed random burgers out of other bags and didn't even check to make sure that was what they'd ordered. By the time my sisters order came through my order was cold. And again it was not busy at all. Another family came in and I warned them that they should leave and the cashier literally agreed with me and told them if she were them she'd go somewhere else.
On top of the slow poor service, they were out of potatoes, most sodas were out, and the bathrooms were out of order so we all had to go over to Walmart to use the restrooms after waiting and holding it for 30+ minutes.
This location needs a serious visit by upper management. This is my first time ever being disappointed in a Wendy's. Avoid this location. I literally could've went and had a nice sit down meal in the time it took to go there order, get food, and then have to go to Walmart for bathrooms....
Read moreThis is a good Wendy's for sure. I used to go here all the time late night after work when I worked till late. I also went to the other one on Eddy St too a lot. I had many stupid problems at the one on Eddy St. Not so much here. In fact it was very, very rare to have something wrong here. And they were always very accommodating with special requests. But the important part was. They managed to get it right. Eddy St. Not so much!
Remember too, if you go here late night. They shut down the grilled chicken, frosties, chili, baked potatoes early. If you go after 2am don't be surprised if a lot of stuff you want isn't available. Okay so the best stuff here. Definitely the salads, especially the Apple Pecan Chicken Salad. The chili. The baked potatoes. The Frosties. The jr burgers. The cheese fries are awesome! The nuggets, and the little chicken sandwich is okay, but not great. The big chicken sandwich is really, really good. And the big burgers are really good here too. Oh, and the Freestyle soda machine is the bomb when you want something completely different to drink.
Also be aware. If you want to go to Wendy's late night. The one on Eddy St is a friggin Mad House! The line can go around the entire building. I lived in Washington park, and it was actually faster to drive all the way here, and back. Then it was too go there. And the food was almost always better here. So if it's late. Just go here. Read moreI love Wendy's and I have come to this exact location many, many times throughout my life. they had 20 employees there. The manager had no control over anything, and although he certainly could control this issue he did not. My husband & I were ordering just took over 20 minutes for them to make the two drinks and serve to us, never mind the 10 minutes waiting just to order because there is only one cashier. Who instead of taking care of customers at the counter was running around making bags for the drive through and by the time we put our order in there were over 20 people behind us. No one could tell where the line started or ended. And our drinks weren't even properly made. Since we had to wait almost 30 mins, and were paid customers, I asked to use the public restroom. Although it needs a code, it always is Available. especially to paying customers. However, that apparently was no longer an option for anyone. We were blatantly disrespected and there is no priority for customer service or an efficient business model. It's clear that it should be taken over by a franchise that has a better ability to run a business, and a strong belief in customer satisfaction, let alone health code requirements and making menu items properly.
