Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in Providence

I visited Wayback Burger in Providence RI at about 9:30pm last night after the Chipotle next door ran out of food. There was a miscommunication in my order and I ended up with 2 meals, one of which would not work for my lactose intolerant BF. So I did request to change my order and get 1 griiled chicken sandwich. I felt horrible about putting in that request because the young lady working the register was obviously busy and running around trying to meet all the new orders that were placed plus the influx of so many people from Chipotle. However, despite the 3 ladies working that night being so busy and possibly overwhelmed, they were very polite and very professional. Plus their teamwork was great as I watched one of the cooks come over to assist her colleague at the register by asking me what I needed help with. Not only did they make the 1 grilled chicken sandwich I asked for, but they also made me one as well and sent me off with a milk shake too. Talk about going above and beyond for your guests and not loosing your cool when the pressure was turned up. I stopped by Wayback Burgers recently, and let me just say—this place absolutely delivers! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile from Katherine, who was beyond friendly and helpful. She took the time to go over the menu, made some great recommendations, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I had a great experience.

I went with the Cheeeesy Burger, and wow—this thing was a masterpiece. Juicy, perfectly cooked patties, loaded with gooey melted cheese, all tucked into a soft, toasted bun. It was everything a burger should be! Of course, I had to pair it with their crispy fries and a hand-dipped chocolate shake, and let me tell you, that shake was next-level thick and creamy.

What really made the experience special, though, was the service. Katherine checked in to make sure everything was perfect and even recommended their onion rings for my next visit (which I will definitely be back for). It's not every day you get food this good with service to match!

Upon arrival you’re greeted with a warm welcome from everyone at this establishment which already sets the tone for your overall experience at this new location. Everything was super neat, brightly colored, organized & well kept just as I expected. My friend & I both got the Impossible Melt which was a great choice for those who are looking to indulge in a flavorful, juicy meatless burger whether if you’re a vegan or a meat eater looking for something to switch it up a bit. As a college student I’m always looking for places that are close to my campus, reasonably priced & serves nothing but great food & that is exactly what I got today.

I love how you can customize your order to your liking without having to have your meal seem complicated. There’s plenty of seating spread out for everyone to stop by and enjoy a quick bite in a comfy environment & a freshly made meal that is ready to be enjoyed in a jiffy! I will definitely be returning back to this location when I need a pick me up. If I could give 10 stars I absolutely would all across the board!!
