This year has been the worst for this location. Their new manager is horrible and thinks he’s gods gift to the world. Really delusional. It’s always dirty inside everything is always a mess and nothing is ever filled from the straw station to their actual donuts. Three times this week they’ve gotten my order wrong. And charging me for items I never got or ordered. Two years ago this location was good. I’ll be walking to the Starbucks inside that little Target on lake now. I refuse to go back here until I see changes especially in management that guy is just the worst. All he does is talk and hang out and get in the way. They have no one guy who actually works. I’m actually so mad about them charging me for things I didn’t get I wonder if there is something legally I can do to get money back. It’s like they’re stealing money from people. Today was the last straw and I’m headed over to the BBB to file a complaint too. So sick of the way this location is run. Oh and doesn’t matter how much money you spend they always say the bathroom is broken but it’s not they just don’t want to clean up after customers. Save your money go anywhere else but this location. There are tons of coffee places in the area that are the same price this one is just convenient being by the train that I picked it as my coffee place but I think I’ll go to the Starbucks on lake like I said or the cafe next to the train right before south blvd never again this location...
Read moreI parked my car in the spot below, underneath the camera, waiting for repair at the Pep Boys on July 4th at approximately 1:00 PM. We had just returned from a trip to Michigan, and when we got home, I realized that we had a leaking tire, so I drove it right over to the Pep Boys next door to the Dunkin Donuts.
The management at Dunkin Donuts had my car towed. I have no idea why they did that.
While I did not speak to them, the Pep Boys management told me that Dunkin Donuts claimed it was the "manager's spot" first (no such posting, as is obvious from the picture), and then later claimed that my car had been abandoned there for days (which is blatantly false, and I can provide photos to prove it if necessary). You can see this parking spot - there is nothing saying that a car cannot be parked there, and Pep Boys is immediately next door to the Dunkin Donuts. I was entirely within my right to park there, and there was no basis for Dunkin Donuts towing my car.
I have no idea why they did this, but the situation with my broken car was made so much worse by this inexplicable act by the management at this Dunkin Donuts on July 4th.
I don't see any reason why this establishment should be trusted. Pep Boys, though, went out of their way to make it right, paying for my tow and giving us the tire repair complimentary. I am quite grateful to them and left them a very positive review. But this Dunkin Donuts has soured me...
Read moreI just spent $30 by ordering online and I went to pick up my order. Unfortunately, I had to cancel it. Why?
The employees at this Dunkin' are all smokers. Or at least everyone that was there when I arrived is a smoker. And all of them were lined up out front of the Dunkin entrance door completely blocking the doorway smoking. They were not 15 ft away which is mandated by Illinois law. They were right up against the door blocking the door from anyone entering.
Whoever manages or owns this location needs to fire all the employees who smoke. Those of us who hate cigarette smoke and dislike the stench of tobacco ash on our food and those of us who respect the laws of Illinois that are intended to keep the public entryways safe from tobacco will never patronize this location.
I even tried to convey this from my vehicle when I arrived to pick up my food but the employees just smiled, shook their heads, and took a deep drag and blew smoke toward my car. The disrespect and the lack of any consideration for the safety or health of the customers...
