I understand that they just opened, but the service was TERRIBLE! Terrible. I don't think I can say terrible enough times. We were told there was a wait of 30 minutes, however, over half the tables were empty when we were sat down after about a 20 minute wait. They have no hostess system. They wrote my name down on a piece of scratch paper. They sat people before us that had walked in after us. Even one of the workers pointed that out to the worker sitting the other party and she just looked at us with an attitude, and then went ahead and sat the other party. We should have known from that moment our exerience was not going to be a good one. The wait staff needs so much more training. We were in there for over 2 hours, 45 minutes of it was waiting for our food to come out. My husband's margarita was pure alcohol. Appetizers and food came at the same time. We asked for silverware 4 times and finally got it when we were almost done eating. We were never asked if we wanted a bib or gloves. Drink refills took repeated and repeated asking. When the waitress came back by and only stopped because I made eye contact with her, she asked if we had gotten our silverware and we said no and still no drinks, she blurted out "Jesus Christ" then walked away. She was supposed to bring those items to us. She was the waitress so I was confused why she asked if we had gotten our items because she was in charge of getting them. Even taking my credit card took 15 minutes. I had to go up to the waitress in the wait station and physically put it in her hands because I was starting to lose my tolerance. She would disappear for long periods of time where you couldn't find her. They have a food runner, so her job doesn't consist of going to the kitchen to get food, so we had no idea where she would go. It was not that busy in there either to have those kinds of problems. There were other people in there that asked for silverware and drink refills too and never got it. They have a lot of work to do with the service or this place will unfortunately be closed within the year. With how long the place took to open, you would think that the wait staff would be on point. As far as the food, the boil we had was okay. We asked for medium spice and I couldn't tell there was any kind of spicy to it. We got crawfish which didn't have a lot of meat.... maybe because we never got a shell cracker and were breaking them with our hands.....the hush puppies were burnt on the outside not fully cooked on the inside and the gator had a really strange breaded texture. My son ordered a Po' Boy. It would have been really helpful to know on the menu (or by the waitress) that there was going to be hot sauce dumped all over it. Again, training issues. We will think twice about going back there again. We left very unhappy that we waited so long to try this place and our experience was ruined with such...

So...we were truly excited about celebrating our parents 57th Anniversary and decided to introduce them to the cajun boil....somewhat disappointed šŸ˜ž 1st off the Oak Park location is not really family friendly to say the least.

I am a eighties absolutely love me some little Wayne however I don't want to hear every single Swear word in the book On a Sunday afternoon they know the music was blasthing you practically had to scream out your order considering the app considering the atmosphere we decided to do carry out specifically let the cashier/hostess know that I was ordering food from my parents and did not want it spicy oh let me add she was very kind by the way I will give her that Back to my story We ordered 6 orders Of the pic 2 mile and one medium Stay with me I'm saying it's for a reason I As well as a few other things including the fried Catfish I specifically ask for the catfish to be fried hard and for the medium boil bag to be in a separate bag because my parents and the other people that we were Ordering for did not eat spicy food It didn't take very long for the order to be made just as long as you can sit through the Music being so loud that you think that you are at a club on a Friday night So once the order was received I noticed that there was no separate bag for the spicier boil bagIn which I inquired about this and was told oh the mild and medium taste about the same just taste it and it's not that spicy huh....so we supposed to check each boil until we find the spicy oneĀæ She was kind enough to try to help me figure out which was the spicy one but unfortunately my husband still ended with a spicy boil which meant the pick must have been off.... oh and to add insult to injury my Catfish was not fried hard side note you only get one medium size piece of fish with your order (but you will get a nice portion of fries) Disappointed is a under statement To spend over 200.00 on take out in this day in age with time as hard as it is business should be grateful that consumers are able to to business with them overall the food was tasty wasn't pleased with the club like vibe on a Sunday afternoon didn't like the scavenger hunt to find the spicy boil and extremely disappointed over the 1pc of fish for 15.00+

Disappointed šŸ˜ž wish my 200.00 plus was spent elsewhere didn't waste my time calling as the sign on the door speaks for itself so seem to had been pointless this just makes me feel better to share my opinion publicly Happy 55th Anniversary (57 together) to my parents better luck next year I...

This place this the definition of horrible. I was there yesterday afternoon with several family members. First of all, It took them over 25 minutes to bring us the drinks that we ordered when we were seated. The waitress actually stated that she had forgotten that we had ordered drinks. I thought to myself, really??? You have ONE job. Then we ordered our food. It took an absolutely unacceptable amount of time for the food to arrive. But it gets worse. The food was brought out one plate at a time, with approximately 6 to 7 minutes between each plate being served. This was the most deplorable service that I had ever experienced. Some family members had already finished eating by the time others were just starting. This service, or lack thereof, made for an extremely unenjoyable afternoon. When we started to complain, the waitress stated that they were short handed and that she did not have much help. This was clearly not the case, as there were several employees doing nothing, other than standing around, and looking like they were doing community service after being paroled from federal prison. Not to mention, the manager, who looked like a Julio Iglesias that had fallen asleep in the tanning bed, who stood around and did nothing and allowed this waitress to struggle. We finally asked the waitress to have Mr. Iglesias come to our table. We explained to him all of our concerns. We also noted that according to the Department of Health, it is forbidden for servers to have long nails, fake eyelashes, and they must pull their hair back, so that there is no chance that it could get into the food. I even told him that this place could get fined if they were to ever get inspected. He stated that he agreed, but that his employees don’t listen, and he is unsure on how to enforce these rules. He agreed to take off the hot wings from our bill because they were burnt, disgusting, and downright inedible. The waitress came back and informed us that she will be tending to another table and that another server named CASH will be assisting us. My family and I looked at each other with massive confusion. Did she say, CASH??? As in CASH, credit, or debit? Or perhaps as in Johnny CASH??? Who the hell names their kid CASH??? At any rate, do NOT go to this place! The service is appalling. And… you’ll will probably get served by some server named NICKLE. And I...
