El Encanto mexican grill — Restaurant in Proviso Township

My son, Adrian found this place on TikTok! We came here about a week ago and the owner Kevin was just wonderful. The restaurant was very clean, and inviting with great music and ambience. The food was very delicious and prices very reasonable. Kevin was so friendly and gave us recommendations however I wanted a burrito bowl and he actually had the Cook make it for me. It was not on the menu, so I thought that was incredible. We decided to try their famous drink , the mochila was out of this world. Kevin definitely made us feel very welcome and talked to us about his experience in the Food Industry. He’s around the same age as my Son and I felt the love and pride in his voice as he spoke. We wish Kevin and his wife, the best and much success with their new restaurant. He is definitely an extraordinary person. We will definitely go back. This is a new restaurant in the area. The place is newly renovated. It looks bigger. As you enter the place, the music makes your body go into a happy mood. The employees are very friendly. I had the opportunity to meet Kevin, he told us about his restaurant and his goals. The food was great. They started us with salsa and chips. They are great. We then asked for empanadas de camaron con queso. They were crispy and with wonderful flavor. I asked for a torta de pastor. The pastor was tender and full of flavor. My wife asked for sopes. The asada one was great. She loved it. My son asked for a pastor burrito. He really loved it too. The horchata was great as well. We didn't have a chance to go to the bar, but we will next time.
