Birrieria y Taqueria Sebastian — Restaurant in Proviso Township

I was a little unsure if the rating was real but Sebastian’s was true to it. Ordered take out since we wanted a quick bite to eat at home. Got a torta and quesabirrias because of course. Some of the most tender birria I’ve had and the taste was on point. The birria torta was well put together with crispy bread, delicious meat, and two of the best salsas I’ve ever had, definitely made for birria. The red was spicy while the green was mild. It was a little more like tacos on bread instead of tortilla so next time I’ll probably ask for common torta toppings.

Super fast service and I was glad that the food travelled well (about a 20 min drive back home). The quesabirrias were nice and crispy and the tortas had crispy bread. Nothing was soggy!

Ordered Ramen Birria . They use the tapatio instant noodles cups. When they brought it out the noodles were still not fully cooked so I closed the lid and had to wait a few more minutes. It felt like the broth needed to be heated up more. I ordered it with carne de chivo . The broth was good but I’ve had other broths that have more flavor and more red in color. I had to keep putting lime and some red sauce to give it more taste. It was not accompanied by a taco like other places I’ve been when you order consomés.

My daughter had 3 steak tacos she said they were good.

A small family runned restaurant with a small menu that includes Birria, Burritos and tacos. Super authentic Mexican selection of protein that includes almost every part of the cow. I got the beef Birria and tried my first goat Birria. Gotta say the goat was just as good as the beef if not better. The Consomé was slapping I almost just drunk it whole. The service was really friendly and the fact that Mom is in the back making sure everything comes out right really boosted the experience. She even brought out the food and was so happy we enjoyed her food. 10/10 only thing I wish they had was some rice and beans or some chips and salsa haha I know it's because I'm white...
