McDonald's — Restaurant in Proviso Township

They're known for getting their food consistently served and that still holds true. Fries and burgers are good. Unfortunately, the details have been lacking, not only at this location, but others as well. And that is an unfortunate consistency as well. I ordered a sausage biscuit, sandwich only. Not a difficult order. I arrive to work and the biscuit was good but they left out the sausage. Not a difficult task, but apparently it was. Very dissatisfied. On another occasion, only a couple days later, I ordered the big breakfast with hotcakes, no sausage. The person giving me the food repeats my order perfectly as I ordered it. Once again, I arrive at work and I have a biscuit, sausage and hash browns. No hotcakes. Coffee is consistently wrong as well. 5 creams no sugar can be a spin of the wheel adventure. Sometimes there's some sugar, sometimes lots of sugar and, yes, on occasions it's spot-on. One would think it's just one location but it is not. Maybe they should have consistent training sessions with all employees. And management at each location makes you feel like you did something wrong and is hesitant to correct the problem. ...

As a former McDonald's employee, this location has to do better. I've been here several times and unprofessional seems to be deeply rooted. On today's visit, it took for me to say, "hello" to finally get a crew member to greet me and take my order in the drive thru. Once my order was taken, nothing appeared on the screen, but I was instructed to pull to the first window. Once getting to the window, I was given my total and after payment, I was not provided a receipt. Once getting to the second window, I was handed another customer's order. When I explained it was not my order, I was asked what was my order. After spending 3-4 mins at the window trying to get the correct order and a receipt to confirm what I paid for, I was informed I couldn't be given a receipt and then was approached with a hash brown in a brown napkin. Finally, I just asked for a full refund and left the location. Will not be returning and I asked that the corporate office look into this location because after I pulled off they provided the order that I was mistakenly given to the correct customer behind me. Worst experience ever for McDonalds. The kiosk is out of receipt paper, tried to get a receipt from the cashier, had to wait 5 minutes until someone help you because they are understaffed, the cashier tell you they can't reprint your receipt and the kiosk are no receipts. You have no idea what your order number is without the receipt and how do you know if the order is mine (anyone can claim the order), some McD do check receipt before hand out the order, but I don't have the receipt. The restrooms are locked with a combo to prevent public restroom for non-paying customers. There are no napkins by the drink fountains. I order food for my kids and tried ask the staff for 3 courtesy cups for water for the kids, they said the cups are $0.27 each. What the hell is wrong with this McD, they are so cheap that everything they charge you for and try to provide the minimum...
