I saw on instagram that they are doing a grand opening promotion giving out free drinks for the first 50 customers. I knew many of their drinks contained tea, so I messaged them beforehand to make sure I could have it without tea, and they said yes. My friends and I went early today to get the free drink, but then when we were ordering, the staff said the free drinks have tea, and if we want one without tea we would have to pay for it. I went all the way there and lined up, and I could not believe they would not provide this option for us. They should've specified that when I messaged them so I didn't have to waste my time. Also, their drinks are just alright. Their taro milk drink uses powder instead of real taro and tasted weird with milk.
I was so disappointed and will not go to this place for boba. There are plenty of good boba places in Utah with better customer service. If they are opening a location in Provo, they should consider the large number of people who would like tea-free boba options and...

I must say, it's way better than Taichi across the street. I ordered the large Pearl Milk Tea, and I asked the server if she could adjust the original recipe as I have dietary restrictions and sensitivities. She used soy milk as a creamer and made the drink exactly to my standard, with a safe and respectful attitude. I also like how there's a plethora of adjustments on the menu. For example, you can ask for standard, more or less ice... likewise with the amount of sugar/sweetness preferred. I always ask for 25% or 0% when ordering Boba. The black boba pearls are chewier (which I fully enjoy) than at Taichi. If you have dietary restrictions, kindly ask if adjustments can be made. Lastly, I could taste the authenticity and real Asian ingredients in the drink as well.
Well done, Coco! You go, Glen Coco! (Mean Girls 2004 movie reference). I will be returning back and becoming a...
Read moreThe store is bright and clean and the employees tried to help us find some non-caffeinated/tea drinks for our young kids, but for some reason the employees were telling us that the Matcha milk tea doesn’t have tea in it bc it’s made from a root. I asked them to clarify bc matcha is traditionally made from green tea, but they told me it could come from tea leaves or a root, and theirs was from the root. It sounds to me like they mixed it up with Maca and told the same root thing to people that came in after us that were also looking for non-caffeinated/tea drinks. This is an important fact to get straight bc people have lots of reasons for not drinking tea/caffeine, and, for some, one of them will be that they’re students coming down the street from a religious school where drinking tea is not allowed. Reports from the kids on the drinks were that they were...
