Preloved Thrift Store in Provo is an absolute treasure trove for anyone looking to score some unique and affordable finds. From clothing and accessories to home decor and furniture, the store has a wide selection of pre-owned items that are in excellent condition and offered at unbeatable prices. What sets Preloved Thrift Store apart from other thrift stores is the quality of the items they offer. Every piece is hand-selected and curated by the staff, ensuring that only the best items make it onto the sales floor. I have found some truly amazing pieces at this store, including vintage dresses, designer handbags, and one-of-a-kind home decor items that I could never find anywhere else. Another thing that makes Preloved Thrift Store stand out is the friendly and helpful staff. They are always willing to help you find what you're looking for and offer suggestions for items that you may not have thought of. They are also knowledgeable about the store's inventory and can tell you the history of each piece, which makes the shopping experience even more enjoyable. The store is also well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find what you're looking for. The clothing racks are arranged by color and size, and the home decor items are grouped together by theme, making it easy to find the perfect piece for your home. Overall, I highly recommend Preloved Thrift Store in Provo. The quality of the items, the friendly staff, and the affordable prices make it a must-visit for anyone looking to score some unique finds. I have always had a great shopping experience at this store, and I know that I will continue to be a loyal customer for years to come. The new location of Preloved Provo left an indelible mark on my thrifting experience, earning every bit of its well-deserved five stars. From the moment I stepped in, it was evident that this wasn't just a thrift store; it was a meticulously curated haven for thrift scavenger enthusiasts like myself. What struck me immediately were the outstanding facilities. The spacious rooms provided an atmosphere of unhurried exploration, and the clever addition of customized messages in the mirrors was a delightful surprise. It's these subtle, thoughtful touches that elevate Preloved Provo from a typical thrift store to a memorable destination. The arrangement of booths was nothing short of brilliant. The ample space allowed for a seamless flow of shoppers, avoiding the crowded and overwhelming feeling often associated with thrift stores. Each booth felt like a curated collection, neatly organized and begging to be explored. The layout is a testament to a well-thought-out design that prioritizes the shopper's experience. What truly set this experience apart was the personalized touch brought about by the mirrored messages. It felt like the store itself was communicating with its patrons, creating an immersive and engaging environment. It's these small details that make the difference, turning a shopping trip into a memorable adventure. The owners' presence during the grand opening was a welcome sight. Their commitment to the success of their store was evident, and their hands-on approach added a genuine warmth to the atmosphere. Not only were they there, but they were also actively involved in assisting customers, offering recommendations, and ensuring everyone felt valued. In a retail landscape where personalization often takes a back seat, Preloved Provo stands out as a shining example of how attention to detail can redefine the thrift shopping experience. The combination of outstanding facilities, thoughtful design, and attentive owners makes it a must-visit for any thrift enthusiast. Five stars hardly seem enough for an experience this exceptional.

I am writing this to maybe help anyone who is thinking of selling here. I’m certain this is a great place to shop for discounted clothing, but as a seller… I don’t think it’s worth it. I have sold through Preloved twice. Once at the Eagle Mountain location and most recently at the Provo location. After reading through their FAQs and policies, I initially thought that selling through Preloved was sort of a ā€œwin/neutralā€ situation. Either I was going to make money on clothes that were already destined for the donation bin, or I was going to make 0 dollars when I donated them. Well I learned after the second time that either way I can make little to no money but one is going to take way more effort. After paying a $25 booth fee, having to go pick up tags, tag all your items, and then go set up, you’ve already put in quite a lot of effort and some money. I only grossed about $17 after I first sold at Eagle Mountain. I thought maybe I had priced some things too high. So when I went to Provo I made sure to price lower and followed Preloved’s recommended discounts (which discounts your items up to 90% by the last day). I checked on my sales throughout the week and was so disappointed to see that I had only made $9. Then I remembered they take a whole 40% of your sales. Which is actually a ton. Especially after a $25 booth fee. And you’d think that maybe after all that money you pay them they could at least help out by straightening your items at the end of a day… but they don’t. (In fact, every time I’ve gone in the girls are just hanging on their phones. They’re nice and cute, but you’re taking 40% of my sales to pay a cashier to just sit on her phone….) If you don’t want your booth to look like garbage, you have to come in everyday and do it. Which was not feasible for me as I live in Lehi. By the end of my week I had made $27.52. So minus my booth fee I made $2.52…. And I actually ended up selling most of my items!! But still only grossed less than 3 bucks. Plus all the effort and time and gas to go set up and take down, etc. I love the concept of this place…. But as a seller I just don’t think it’s worth it sadly. You either have to price your items higher (but they won’t sell likely), or just have an insane amount of clothes to make a decent profit here. (Note: I had plenty of items for sale and only 5 things left at the end of the week. So it was not a lack of inventory on my part) So that’s just my honest thoughts as a seller. I probably will just donate next time and safe myself the hassle.

PSA: secondhand is so fun!! I visited this store for the first time yesterday, and I got such a sweet haul from Preloved Provo. SO many great pieces for only $3-10!! I have always hated shopping. Big stores overwhelm me, and regular thrift stores give me burnout (I can only sort through so many color-coordinated racks of cotton tshirts that all smell like mildew). Preloved was the best shopping experience I think I’ve ever had in my life so far. šŸ¤‘ Saves me money on quality clothing šŸ«‚ Support small business šŸ’° 65% of sales went back into the pocket of the local women who previously owned these clothes, as opposed to big corporate šŸ‘– Possibly one of my very favorite reasons, but the pants (and everything else) I buy have already been worn/washed/dried/loved, which means no guessing as to how their stretch/fit will hold over time!! 🤣 šŸ—‘ Less waste, because these items have been given another life! šŸƒ Good for the environment because so many resources are used to create product and to transport said product to/from multiple places. And I don’t fuel the demand for more product that requires so many resources. ā™»ļø My friend, Jack Johnson, said it’s best—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. And more specific to Preloved: ✨ All new inventory every Saturday, which is also very dangerous to my wallet šŸ™ˆ šŸ‘¶šŸ» Baby/kid-friendly with a play area. They even have snacks for sale! No one will tell you that your hangry child can’t eat. Haha 🚪 Dressing room, to make sure it fits how you like it (can’t do that with online shopping) šŸŽ° By the way that it’s set up, if you find a booth whose vendor is similar to your size/style, you have hit the jackpot šŸ˜Ž My only bit of feedback would be regular cleaning/disinfecting of children’s play area and toys, with a posted sign that reassures that. Additionally, you could even provide a container of gentle disinfectant spray or wipes to encourage parents to clean after their child has played. I know Force of Nature is great non-toxic sanitizer/disinfectant! This, and better larger hooks to replace the Command hooks in the dressing room 😁 Maybe add another hook to the back of the door as well.

Update They finally got back to me after a month of emails going unanswered. They tried to suggest that i had marked the item incorrectly ($80 is what it was tagged as, but they said maybe it was $8) they showed me footage of it being purchased just hours before i showed up to pick it up. If it were $8, i guarantee it would’ve been purchased Saturday morning. The only solution they offered was to reach out to the buyer and see if they will pay the full price or return it. I picked up the item today, but even after mentioning it to them 5+ times (they keep ignoring it when i bring it up) I’m still missing another bag of the same value. 2 items in one week go missing and they truly don’t seem to care. It’s not even worth the fight anymore and I’ll spend the time and energy telling everyone i know the avoid this place.

They wouldn’t be open without their sellers and they don’t seem to care to take care of them and make it right. I understand they are currently switching management, but someone needs to be available to handle the problems especially after a month. I have been a seller since they barely opened many years ago and I’m sad that i even have to write a bad review. I’ve tried to be understanding and tried to be patient. If someone could email me back and get this settled, I’d love to...
