Swig — Restaurant in Provo

I’ve never really loved soda shops, way too much sugar for me to drink regularly. But swig has some SOLID drinks that include a lot of sugar free syrups that I can enjoy without a sugar crash! The Fighter is my absolute favorite. It’s got such a fun blend of flavors and they get it right it every time I order it. I’ve never had any issues with any employees or inconsistency with the drinks. The employees have always been so kind, cheerful, and helpful! Their lobbies are open again which is so nice! It’s clean and has a good vibe to it. They’ve got tables and chairs and a clean and tidy bathroom available as well. My husband and I love going together and we both agree that the fighter is far superior to any drink anywhere else. I love that all the drinks are customizable! I always get the Fighter with sparkling water but you can get regular water as well! My husband loves experimenting with flavors so he’s able to change whatever he wants with the drink he gets- and he often does lol. Awesome drinks. Great customer service. When I joined the rewards program I got a free cookie! It was freaking good. Their pretzel bites are really good as well!! Honestly not the best ones I’ve had but with swigs location and all the other things they offer-if I was craving pretzel bites- I’d just go to swig. They also have little popsicles that are absolutely amazing. Highly recommend the mango one in particular. They’re packaged similar to otter pops but the texture is frozen and creamy and everything you could want. It tastes like the real deal. We visited the drive-thru and ordered just two drinks, with only a few cars ahead of us. Altogether, it took about 30 minutes to get through.

When we pulled up to the window, we noticed about eight drinks already sitting on the counter, seemingly for customers behind us. Our drinks weren’t ready, and instead of ours being prioritized, more drinks were continually made and handed out to others who had ordered after us.

We waited at the window for about 5–10 minutes before we were informed that one of the syrups we ordered was out which was totally understandable, and we were happy to substitute. That drink came out shortly after, but we then waited another 5-10 minutes for the second drink, with the explanation that it had “gotten lost in the line.” During that time, the staff continued to serve other customers behind us, and while they seemed busy, we weren’t given much communication or acknowledgment about the delay.

Both of our drinks were blended, which I understand can take more time but when we finally received the second one, it was half melted, which makes me think it may have been sitting off to the side for a while.

We would have really appreciated more communication or even a simple apology. I understand things happen, and staff can get overwhelmed, but the lack of clarity and the long wait were...

I’ve never posted before but, I’m posting this because of the chaos that is the Provo canyon road location. More then once, I’ve expressed my concern with the double line they try and run there. I stay left cars are allowed to advance on the right ahead of me, I go right and I’m ignored as cars advance to the left. I’ve had times where I’ve timed the process and it’s added as much as 8 additional minutes to my wait time. It’s frustrating they can’t figure out a system. I’ve seen near fights break out swearing at the employees trying to get the orders and today I felt like I needed to post this after trying to talk to Managment and others no one seems to care. I can see how they could easily manage this by adding a stop sign at the deepest point possible and the person taking orders going from one line then the other line back and forth, just like when entering on I-15 during rush hour. Anyway something needs to be done or there appears to be a real possibility of altercations that may unfortunately happen. If this were my business I would get out in front of this to avoid any potential law suits etc. Drinks cookies are great, that’s why we go! 2?star...
