Ordered a box of 12 cookies for delivery on the Crumbl website. Got delivery because we were exhausted and didn't want to deal with getting the three year old in the car.
When we got the deliver, one cookie was missing and two did not have the frosting or toppings. I called for them for a replacement or refund, because if im paying over $70 dollars for cookies, thats the least they could do, right?
Nope.
They told me I had to come in and show them the cookies. I said, if I have to come in, I want a full refund and they can take the cookies back because at this point, why did Inorder delivery?
They responded, "I'm sorry."
So, I drove across town, presented the boxes, and asked for a refund. They never looked inside the boxes and said their manager wasn't their to refund me.... Why they didn't tell me that while we were on the phone, I dont know.
I was told they'd leave a note for the manager, that I would be refunded when the manager got there, and that I could take the cookies with me.
This was on March 22nd.
It's April 2nd now.
No refund has been given. I just called the business to ask where the refund is. They put me on hold to grab the manager. Same person comes back and tells me the manager will be in tomorrow. Apparently only one manager is allowed to give refunds and it's not the manager that is working currently.
Again, they tell me they will leave a note for the manager who will contact me tomorrow concerning the refund.
This may be the single worst experience I've had with a food business.
Every part of this seems like something that would happen on a TV comedy show.
Edit: the customer service website they posted for me to contact points me to the same phone number I have been calling and communicating with them through. So, I guess I'm not...

Read moreI like Crumbl but not this location. A few times I have tried this location and each time the cookies are a mess. Last time they weren’t round but misshapen with frosting piped in squiggles. Today was the last time I will buy cookies from this location. I got two red velvet cupcake cookies and two strawberry butter cakes. Mistake one: The red velvet was mixed with the brownie batter and ended up a thick chocolate cookie with cream cheese. Mistake two: the butter cakes had a teaspoon of strawberry frosting. I asked the girl to put more and she just globed it on the side which looked like a 6 year old was decorating. No thanks Crumbl. You need to train your staff in...
