As of Tuesday 1/21 I still have not heard from anyone regarding this review! The same text was sent to corporate via their contact us link on their webpage. I recieved a, "form letter" response stating that the message was sent to that specific franchise operator. I have not heard from them yet.
I went in on 1/17 at approximately 16:15 with my wife. We attempted to order 2 of the meal deal promotions for $6. According to the poster in the lobby (picture attached to this review), this promotion is now offered all day. We were met with a very argumentative cashier claiming to be a Supervisor. Her name was Marisa. She refused to ring up our items at that price point. She said multiple times that they hand wrote a time limit on their menu board. I said I was aware that it was previously a happy hour type special, but it was now posted in the lobby as all day. She came out to the lobby and viewed the sign...yet still refused. I asked to speak with the manager. After a minute or so, Marisa came back to the register and said the manager refused to speak with us. Amazing! There were no raised voices, no profanity of any sort no hostility...but a manager refused to talk to a customer? I spent 20+ years in the Service/Restaurant Industries, and would have terminated a manager running shifts in this manner. I asked for a phone number for corporate and was given a number without an area code. I asked for the managers name and that was refused. However, I was able to find out that her name is Amanda. I would appreciate being contacted by someone above the store level to further discuss this...
Read moreI'm a big fan of Dairy Queen food, it's definitely our go to for a sweet treat . 😋 Unfortunately, I haven't been pleased with the products.. this goes for all locations. It seems the staff need more training. Ever time I odre a special the blizzard is missing something. So just to make things easier I go with the basics "Oreo Blizzard" but I want other flavors . 🥴 I do my best to be very nice and kind when I go back in to say " sorry this is missing......." And sometimes there is attitude like " oh here is another customer complaining about their ice cream!". And I just want it made correctly 😭 The last 5 times I've been to one of the locations they don't flip the blizzard upside down and when I joke and say " ooh you didn't flip it doesn't that mean the next one is free!" The staff gets all nervous and just stares at me like I'm a crazy Karen? ! Like um okay so I called that next day spoke to the manager and they said yes it should be free but she never took action to do so? So idk how that goes?! I do know Warren is a great owner and the locations could use more training DQ is our small town favorite...
Read moreI love how quickly the drive thru moves at this location but the customer service I received was terrible I had come in the day prior and ordered the hazelnut shakes well they put so much if the mix and chocolate hazelnut stuff you couldn't even get anything up the straw so I called the manager and she was awesome said I could come in the following day and they would gladly replace them so came in the next afternoon went thru the drive thru again and let them know when she came on to take my order that I was there for TWO LARGE hazelnut chip shakes have her my name pulled up to the window and short kid had two small shakes in his hand so I told him they were supposed to be large and he proceeded to tell me they weren't wrote in the book that way so he couldn't give them to me like that but then the other girl asked me to pull around and park in the parking lot and they brought out two large ones but they one kid was super rude and then proceeded to make comments thinking my window was rolled up or something before...
