several weeks ago when my wife was out of town I decided to go to 3 Margaritas because I had a hankering for some nice enchiladas. Went I went in I got my chips and salsa and asked for a glass of ice water. I was munching on the chips and salsa for quite a while and I asked for my water several times before they brought me ice tea which I had not ordered. When I ordered my food I told the waiter that I would like three enchiladas without the beans and rice just the enchiladas. Also I would like to have a side salad before the entree. The waiter seem to be confused about that and I had to explain what the side salad was. Well after a while the enchiladas arrived. They were on a large plate and I was surprised to see that they were very small shriveled-up little enchiladas with no enchilada sauce on them. They were more like finger foods. Which I consumed quite quickly. After they were gone they brought my side salad which I had ordered before the entree. It consisted of a handful of lettuce on a small plate with no dressing. I asked for dressing and I sat there for about 10 minutes before the dressing arrived. The total bill came to $16. I figure that the small shriveled-up enchiladas were about $3 a piece and the handful of lettuce for the salad was about 4:50 and the eye Steve which I had not ordered was another two or three dollars. The service was about the worst I have ever experienced. I'm not usually one to complain. I figure you live and you learn and I learned that I'm just not going to go back there again and I would not...
Read moreI am on vacation in Colorado and my sister recommended this place. We walked in and found a very nice environment. The waiter surprised me, but he was so nice! He was very attentive to us throughout our meal, and noticed my water was empty when I didn't even realize. 10/10 service from Jeysson. We ordered the plain queso, some mushroom salsa, and the Molcajete de Moriscos. Inside of the authentic Molcajete, a traditional Mexican bowl made out of volcanic rock, we found shrimp, prawns, fish, octupus, squid, scallops, celery, carrots, and mushrooms all cooked in a spicy broth that tastes similar to Birria. We used this mixture to make tacos, putting the queso on top of the tacos to give it that extra cheesy finish. To say the Molcajete de Moriscos was delicious would be an understatement of astronomical proportions. Now for the queso. Because we ordered our main dish and our appetizers at the same time, they came out within minutes of each other. While waiting for the entrée, I couldn't help but take a chip to dip inside of the queso. I have to admit with complete honesty, I was a tiny bit disappointed. Though that may be caused by the fact that I am used to queso stuffed full of grilled meat and peppers. It was a good queso, just not for me. Now for the mushroom salsa. I also took a bite of the salsa pre-entrée, and it was very citrusy. I love mushrooms and lime, but together I think they could use a little something to bridge the gap.
Overall, I would highly recommend 3 Margaritas Pueblo. 10/10 Service. 8/10...
Read moreVery good! The ambience and decor is super authentic. They've got the Dia de Los Muertos celebration going on, which really reminds me of the hispanic culture back on the west coast. They also take their social distancing and cleaning very seriously as they were seating people far far apart and a lady was cleaning tables within an inch of their life after. The sanitiser smell is annoying but reassuring.
The nachos and salsa for the table were really good. Really liked the salsa. We ordered the loaded nachos and street tacos with a traditional margarita. The nachos were great - huge quantity, cheesy, good amount of chicken with lots of guac and sour cream. The street tacos were decent. They only allow you to choose one meat for all 5 which is strange because every other place I've ordered street tacos in gives you the option of mix and match. I chose the chicken. It was a little bit dry. Maybe you should consider asada for yours. The plate comes with a salsa verde (good, but I love spicier salsas), beans (a little dry but good) and a small amount of salad on the side.
The margarita surprised me. Instead of just the one glass of margarita, they provided a glass and the mixer with the margarita inside it. So you pour it out yourself. Ended up being 3 glasses so it's easily shareable! A little too sweet for me but I liked it!
Also got takeout of their lunch special arroz con pollo which looked pretty good.
Overall, definitely a better experience than prior mexican...
