I critique pizza heavily based on style, taste, quality and quantity The style is most similar to a pan pizza w/o added oil onto the crust. The crust is thick and hearty. The taste is a 7/10, not the best cheese quality (typical mozzarella cheese from most mediocre American pizza chains). The marinara sauce is light with a hint of sweet tomato. You taste a lot of cheese and dough ( for pan pizza and extra cheese type pizza lovers) Quality is mediocre nothing outstanding, slightly better than your typicall fast food pizza. The price/quantity ratio is good for a restaurant pizza. Nothing fancy, just cheese for first time grading. The 12" is equivalent to a 14" at a fast food pizza chain. You will feel the weight if you grab the box to go. $10-12"

FINAL THOUGHTS: The dough is a thick fluffy crust so if you're not a fan of thick dough, this pizza is not your style. The cheese amount is equivalent to adding extra cheese at fast food pizza chains. The cheese/crust ratio is fine since the thick crust compensates; although, my only complaint is not enough marinara sauce, you taste cheese/dough but not enough marinara to compensate. As a pizza maker I will clarify: this pizza may taste raw for some people cause of the thick dough crust but that is not the case. Thick dough tends to change texture as it's cooled down with marinara sauce on top. If you have had house made thick crust you know what I mean, not your typicall pizza...

On Thursday, April 27, 2023, I ate at Sella’s for the first time. I took my interns and a colleague for lunch. We arrived right at 11 a.m. when the doors opened so we got right in and ordered. For the four of us we paid $63. The three people in my party ordered the lunch special (lunch-sized calzone and salad) while I opted for a “build-your-own” full-sized calzone.

I filled my calzone with the Thai sauce and chicken. It was large, beautifully cooked, and easy enough to eat. There is a big ring of cheese in the crust area that sews up the calzone which is kind of fun. Once I worked my way into the actual toppings, it was delicious. The sauce was perfect and the chicken was plentiful and fresh. I had plenty of leftovers and ate them over the course of a couple different meals as it seemed to get better each ensuing time I ate more of it.

The restaurant is entertaining. It is right next to campus and you get to color on your place mat. The best colorings go on the wall. Service is good and friendly. I will return. Prices are a little on the high side otherwise it would...

I’m normally not one to complain, but I ordered a Canadian Calzone on October 4 2019 around 7:30pm. When I got it, the outside looked great! However, when you opened it up, SOO MUCH DOUGH! And the “toppings” that go inside were cold. (The cheese wasn’t melted and the pineapple was cold) I probably should have spoke up sooner, because when I went to the counter and showed the girl how much dough was in the calzone, she said they come like that! No way do they come like that; if they did I don’t think the restaurant would have so many calzone appreciation pictures throughout the place. I understand mistakes happen, the problem that I have is she didn’t try to create compensation with a refund, discount, or coupon. Sorry I had to leave a negative review, but thought I would warn people that will potentially order a calzone. Beware...

Incredibly solid college town Ital-Amer joint. With 'Calzone' in the name, you know they're foldin' those babies up right. Any visiting Spokanites who love Pete's Pizza will do naked cartwheels with these 'zone offerings. They were getting creamed with the Natl Lentil Festival going on and hundreds of parents dropping off their students at WSU, and were down a few items that I crave; but no matter, because I just asked our waitress to pick whatever protein they had left and add pickled Jalapeños. Eh Voila, delicious lunch! Wifey insisted on getting their Bread Twist appy, and I wisely refrained, thereby securing plenty of belly room for that great calzone. Was there plenty to take back to the RV? Indeed there was...
