First time dining in for lunch and had heard good reviews about the food. I ordered a chicken Souvlaki plater. The first thing that I noticed was that what was supposed to be the traditional Greek dressing didn’t look as if it was. The next hi g was the chicken. It was cut into slightly larger bite size pieces and didn’t resemble that of a marinated chicken that was skewered. I took a piece and ate it. Sadly it was so dry, and had zero flavor. To get it down I had to drink a bit of my beverage. I was shocked at first and decided to shake it off and took a larger piece. I couldn’t even eat it. It was so dry. For a reference, it was like someone had made baked chicken breast and over cooked it. The pieces were hard and had no flavor. I decided to go over to the owner and politely, not for customers to overhear, told him that my chicken was extremely dry. He was surprised and said oh, I am surprised, it is fresh. He says, it’s chicken breast you know. I said, yes. He then brought over, like a parent would to a child to get them to eat what you know is bad tasting, olive oil and more of the sour cream Greek dressing. He proceeds to pour it all over the open pita and said, “here, this will make it better.” Even Olive Garden asks before offered graded Cheese. Well, it didn’t taste better, ot was extremely dry chicken drenched in olive olive and sour cream. I suffered through it and will say I failed at letting him k ow that it was not acceptable . I paid 29.95 for two platters and two sodas. So, since my kindness was Taken advantage off, and he didn’t provide an apology and offer another platter to make things right, I will not be returning and will not recommend them. A lot of family owned businesses value their local customers and want to ensure that they experience the best of what they offer. This one did not. If he had only did the right thing from the beginning….. seriously...

I decided to stop in one day for lunch since so many locals rave about the place on our local social media groups. It’s a small deli inside, you get the feeling you have stepped into a small family deli/restaurant in Queens. In fact, to access their public restrooms you have to walk through a section of the kitchen. But the staff were welcoming and friendly.
I ordered the Famous Italian. It was so good! The meat, you could tell, was fresh sliced. And the bread! Oh my goodness, the bread is what dreams of paninis are made of! Slight crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. I can’t wait to try more of their paninis! One small complaint is that the sandwich was supposed to have vinaigrette on it… and either mine didn’t or it was so light that I couldn’t taste it. So next time I’ll ask for extra. The sandwich came with a side of chips and it was a quick and easy lunch without all the extra fuss.
I would recommend this place if you like deli sandwiches or gyros (I’ve been told they’re the best!) or just want a simple, low key lunch.
I’ll definitely be taking my husband back so he can...

The owner was very friendly. 《 correction...it was not the owner that served us...none the less he was very friendly 》
We purchased a gyro and the steak and cheese panini. Both were decent. We also purchased a GREEK beer to-go. The beer was enjoyed later in the evening and was deemed "pretty good".
Sandwiches are served with chips only and not many.
There are no options for sides such as fries, onion rings or fried veggies that many other greek eateries offer. They did have dolmaes and pita with hummus I believe.
Drinks are single serve canned sodas, waters and such from the cooler. No cups or ice offered. 《Per the owner...apparently cups and ice ARE available...however I stand by the statement that they were NOT offered... nor is there a sign on the cooler that such is available by request. As first time patrons, the offer,...be it verbal or thru a single printed and well placed notice... would go a long way.》
This eatery appears to have a community based following and hopefully that sustains this owner in these tough times.
For us...it was "okay" but not looking to revisit...
