The Lazy Ballerina Wine Bar — Restaurant in Puyallup

If you’re in the Puyallup or greater surrounding area and you enjoy wine or are looking for a fun date night or girl’s night, I couldn’t recommend The Lazy Ballerina enough! The space is so thoughtfully curated and their hospitable staff and food and wine selection are out of this world. I personally love a space where you can come as you are or dress up a little bit, and this place hits the mark! I also hosted my birthday party here in July and Kathy and her crew really take care of everything, all you have to do it show up and have a good time. We hosted about 25 people at our party and all of their food and drinks were delivered in a timely manner. Great date night spot or place to hang with friends/other couples. Noise level depends on the rest of the crowd, so it could still be nice and intimate if on a date!

They have a good amount of wine selections for the pour-it-yourself section, but also have more to select from the menu. If you're not a wine person, they also have cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic options (including sodas). Food selection is good too! They have snacks/small bites or full sandwiches/flat bread options. The bruschetta is also great!

Wait time also depends on when you arrive. They only take reservations for six or more people.

Most recent time we went it was a Saturday around 6pm and we were able to get a table (able to seat yourself). If the weather's clear, there is an outdoor patio area for seating options.

Love the ambiance & service is phenomenal! Went here on a couple occasions and every time it’s been amazing! They have plenty of wine options, and if you need help the staff is fun and quick to provide their recommendations! Super fun, they have a tasting bar - where the wine is on tap and you get a preloaded card and run the card for samples and you check out and only pay for what you pour to consume. It looks like a small place but there’s ample seating and when the weather is nice they offer outdoor patio seating.

Food is delicious! We got a few appetizers for the table and they were all good! Recommend the focaccia bread & the Mediterranean trio! And their salads are alllll so yummy! Got the spinach pear salad and it was sooo dreamy!
