So I had the most rude experience at this DD today. I go to this DD maybe 10 times a week since it's on the way to and from work. About half of those times I go in woth my dog. She's a year old well trained puppy. Normally when I go in with her the staff are all friendly and talk to her and she talks back. So today I go in with her and as we I am ordering both the staff member and another customer are talking and admiring my pup and my pup is talking back. In the middle of me ordering a staff member walks towards us and says "if you can not control your dog you're going to leave, I cant hear when people are giving me orders." Npw my puppy wasn't barking anywhere loud or even alot. This staff member then turns around to the drive through window and instead of giving his full attention to putting orders in he goes on his phone while taking orders. asking customers while on his phone to repeat what the ordered. Now it would have been one thing if my dog was distracting him from working but he was doing thay himself. I asked the staff member to speak to the manager to which I was told the person on his phone was the OWNER. So if anyone is ever in the drive through wondering why it's taking so long it's because the owner thinks his phone is more important than taking orders. Lastly mister Owner there are better and more polite ways to talk...
Read moreToo busy in the drive-thru, would have had to block traffic on the road waiting to get in line. Inside was understaffed (I saw 4 people working, plus one on break- not nearly enough for the morning rush). Front counter looked like he was about to pull his hair out, clearly frustrated. Sandwich maker gave me only one out of my two sandwiches. Drive-thru cashier came over and made my iced mocha latte against the protests of the front counter person. I reminded them I'd asked for it to be stirred well (at this point literally all of us know what happens with the mocha swirl when you don't stir it) and he just kind of rotated the cup. This is what the large metal spoons sitting in sanitizer are for. I asked for a spoon (hoping he'd get the hint that I wanted him to use a spoon) and he said he didn't have one so he gave me a plastic fork instead. 🤷♂️ This location is always chaotic and usually gets something wrong about my order (or mocks the way I take my coffee, that happens a lot too) but today was exceptionally bad. I was sitting down with my husband and was told after a few minutes by the owner apparently that he couldn't have us in there and to leave which my husband and I stated then to him what we were doing. After we got up and expressed what we were doing you could see that he definitely knew he made a mistake but instead of apologizing and doing the right thing threaten to call the cops and accused us of being homeless.
