Won't eat here again. The portion to value is terrible for starters... 2nd, your kids working the til/window/ etc... had asked me if I wanted to leave gratuity before he even ran my card, I ALWAYS leave $10 minimum especially for small businesses and younger employees, however, asking me that way rather than give me a receipt so I could fill it out was sorta dumb. I actually paid with card and had a $10 bill I was going to tip, it was awkward so I asked him to break the $10 into to $5's because at that point he was only gonna get $5... then he struck a nerve and I didn't tip anything at all. When I sat put back on the tables, I spilled the baked bean soup all over my hand because it's extremely runny and tight lid, an whadya know, no napkins... glad I didn't tip a man for 1 star experience. Finally, let's get to the Mac an cheese and the beans, I didn't order baked bean SOUP or Mac N Cheese soup.... terrible. Mac n cheese is suppose to be THICK and CHEESY when paired with BBQ, don't need to fancy it up... waste of $20, still hungry if I'm being honest...

Had a slab the prices are fair, middle of the road. Same can be said for the ribs. Not bad mind you but nothing you are going to write home about. Now the sides are hit and miss. Some are better than others. I wasn't impressed with the beans, the potato salad was spot on. Now the best thing was the cornbread. Oh my gosh that's worth the trip. I even got a corner piece and it was still the best thing on my plate. I did like their sweet heat sauce as well. The dry rub rack I got needed the sauce. If you enjoy BBQ as much as I do then you know as well, that when you have to keep reaching for the sauce it's not the best BBQ. It was kind of tough to chew as well. Now the real question would I go back? Yes I would return and I'd even suggest you try it. For the area (that's within a 50 mile radius) this is the best around. You would have to make a trip to Saint Louis or Kansas City to get better BBQ.

Ordered at the counter, got served at the table. Disposable plates and utensils. We’re Texan, so our review may be tainted by regional preference. We ordered the Barbecue Sundae (B) and Barbecue Spaghetti (P). The sundae had a lot of too sweet BBQ sauce and beans for my taste. There were 3-4 slices of brisket and a smattering of finely chopped Cole slaw on top. I don’t know what “dust and drizzle” is supposed to be, but didn’t see any. Will not order again. The Spaghetti had a sweet-spicy sauce we liked better. Was steaming hot. OK, but we also won’t order it again either. We were provided a complimentary macaroni and cheese side. We liked this best. The liquidy cheese had a nice taste. Would order again. Staff were nice and polite. Kudos for that. However the food was overall not our favorite style of barbecue.

Got ribs, brisket, burnt ends, green beans, baked beans and corn bread. The ribs were excellent, ranking right up there with the best I've ever had. The burnt ends and brisket were good but nowhere near the best I've had. The green beans and baked beans seemed to me to be canned (I'm not certain of this, however.) but both were doctored up nicely and I liked them both. The cornbread was a nice extra I hadn't been expecting and it was excellent. I was disappointed after driving 1-1/2 hours to find the dinning room was closed and the drive thru was my only option. As such, I was going to have to eat in my car so I asked for extra napkins. I got one single moist towlet and had to stop by Wendy's for napkins. My least favorite part of my Fatbacks BBQ adventure was being asked for a gratuity at a drive thru window. If I want to tip at a drive thru I will, but don't ask! If I was passing by I would stop by for more of those ribs but I wouldn't drive 3 hours r/t again. If I was ratting my Fatbacks BBQ adventure on the food alone I would probably give...
