5 stars for food 3 stars for service. I love this place. I've been getting my desserts for a few years and the sandwiches (weekdays only) are amazing. I even bought my wedding cake here. I often buy a few pounds of mixed Italian cookies, always including the more expensive almondy ones and the cheaper butter cookies- to bring as gifts. They're always appreciated. I'm hoping my one-time, bad experience was just a one time thing.

This week, I had the most frustrating and super annoying exchange with the counter person. I wanted to buy a medium sized box of all the varieties of Italian cookies, as I've done previously many times. The counter person refused because "they are different prices" and "only sold by weight". Even though every other time, it hasn't been problem, I finally acquiesced because she was clearly not interested in my needs and I was in a rush.

Instead, I asked her to fill up about one small box with the $11 cookies and to fill up another small box with the $8. She kept insisting that I specify the weight of the cookies before she would fill them! I explained to her multiple times that I was bringing these as a gift and just wanted the boxes to be full. I'd pay whatever they weighed, but she just kept insisting that I tell her the weight of the cookies I wanted to buy! We went back and forth and it was super irritating. They have a scale for a reason!

In the end, I had to waste a bunch of time dealing with that girl, and trying to tie the two stupid boxes of cookies together with a ribbon so it looked halfway decent. she didn't even fill up the boxes. I ended up bringing two, 2/3-full small boxes of cookies. I'm embarrassed that I brought a gift that made me look like a cheapo but I didn't have time to go anywhere else, and there was no way I was going back in to deal with that girl again. Normally the service there is pleasant so I'm hoping that this was just a one-time...

I lived in Quincy for quite a few years, and one of my favorite things was popping into Fratelli's for a hot chocolate and a tasty treat, especially on a chilly morning.

Today my office had a baby shower for a colleague and everyone was blown away by how beautiful and delicious the cake and cupcakes we ordered were, including the gluten-free one that we got for a coworker with celiac disease.

Their team was very prompt with their response to my online request for pricing on what we were looking for, and they were so great about making sure we were on the same page with flavors, frosting types, colors, and everything else.

Our order was perfectly done as ordered and the baked goods were fresh, elegant, and beyond delicious!!! I almost thought the "fights" over who could claim what flavors could have led to actual fisticuffs (and if it had, said coworkers would have thought the fight(s) well worth it.

Unsurprisingly, I'm pretty sure that, after today, in future they may see more business coming their way from my...

I cannot say enough about how much my family LOVES Fratelli’s! Quincy and Weymouth locations. We’ve ordered so many specialty cakes in the past, for birthdays, holidays and special occasions. They’ve never disappointed us. They’re meticulous with following your special order requests, and keep in constant contact with you if there are any additional questions. They’re quick to respond to emails and phone messages. Friendly and professional. I decided to have them do my wedding cake for my Oct. 9, 2021 wedding. My new husband and I had full faith in the work that they do. My wedding cake was delivered on time, as promised. It was delicious and was the crowning glory to my beautiful wedding! My guests were amazed at the detail. Some were guessing the price and thinking it came from one of the big, expensive bakeries known for their wedding cakes. Fratelli’s created my cake to the letter, and at a fraction of the cost of the others. Fratelli’s has our business for life. You’re the BEST!...

I had heard good things about this place before and so I have been wanting to check it out myself for a long time. I was not at all disappointed when I visited last week! There is limited parking in front of the shop but there are lots of parking spots in the vicinity so that's not an issue. As soon as you enter the shop, a wonderful smell hits you and if I didn't have good self-control, I would probably have bought everything in the shop. There is also a modest seating area if you would like to sit and eat there. So, I ended up getting the lemon delight cake, cannolis (pistachio and chocolate) and Boston cream muffins. Service was quick and I didn't have to wait at all before someone was available to help me. Regarding the taste, I honestly loved everything and it's hard for me to pick a favorite, but I really liked the lemon cake because it was really moist and just the right amount of sweet. I'm hoping to try some of the other stuff at the bakery when I visit next time.
