Overall the service has a minor glitch. After paying for service and watching the lovely fresh croissants be brought out I noticed there were gnats were inside of the glass container on some of the older pastries I notified the cook and cashier, but seemed to be ignored or misunderstood due to the language barrier.. after receiving my food ( I got a fresh croissant) and began eating I noticed mold on and inside of one of my bread loafs. Immediately notified the cashier to which he said no it’s not it’s just the grill .

I had two pieces of bread and one doesn’t have anything upon trying to break the bread open he immediately took it before I could show him further. Nothing was done so we immediately left. Mind there was fuzz on the bread! We spent $50 no problem, but a hazard like this should be taken seriously. I’m highly allergic to mold.

2nd reply to business:

Hi, I love bakeries and I study in many of them, but a great precaution to your bakery pest situation would be to try to to keep the glass closed. When I was present it was completely open and stayed opened.

Also, I didn’t make it clear it was 100% not burned substance on the bread. Unfortunately, I had the pleasure of tasting it before noticing as it touched my mouth before my husband yelled at me. I’m highly allergic and have since been ill with a cough, skin rashes , breathing issues and clear blood work of my body fighting infection. I’m not waiting for a mycotoxin test. I wish that bread piece was fresh, however it was not. Will...

Came here for a quick breakfast bite in the AM while walking our puppy, and we promptly returned the very next day. The first visit, we were delighted with the savory meat “pies”, haven’t had anything like them and cannot wait to have them again! We got 2 chicken varieties (one triangle in shape and the other was a circle topped with almonds- SO GOOD), then we got two beef “cigars” which were again just so so good. Lastly we got a Nutella croissant and saved that for later. It was divine. The next day we were looking for some kind of egg and cheese on a croissant, which they certainly delivered. Their croissants are to die for. We had ours with salami, egg and cheese. 10/10 would recommend. Then with a BBQ that day, we decided to get a box full of pastries (photo) to bring along to the BBQ. So everything we have had is amazing, not to mention the lovely people working there. I believe they are a family and they are so welcoming. The son rang us up and was wonderful with his customer service. All in all, so glad we have this little gem so close by. We will surely...

I recently tried a few items at this bakery shop. First thing first, the size of the pastry and cake slices are not standard size, the lemon cake slice is very small, all slim rectangular cake slices measure about 3.5"L×1"W×1"H, the taste was good, but not impressive, the lemon flavor can be stronger. The croissant was lightly burnt/over baked, over puffed with enormous airy hole in the middle about 2/3 of the croissant, but it looked deceptively large, clearly overpriced. This burnt croissant was a huge disappointment, it's worst than Stop and shop's store brand croissants, I was totally shock. I didn't know what I was eating, it felt like burned cardboard, but I know I don't want to experience it again. I tried a few cookies, the coconut cookie was soft and full of coconut slices and coconut flavor, the cross top butter cookie was soft and full of flavor but lack of vanilla aroma. The almond cookie was rock hard like hard candy which...

Pastry land is a fairly new bakery kindly placed on Hancock st in Quincy ma. Serving a wide range of pastries you can also find a simple lunch menu with an assortment of salads, hot, and cold sandwiches. I opted for a chicken shawarma sandwich and a cigar(ground beef wrapped in filo dough) Both selections were mighty tasty and worth the money spent. I purchased a salad from them days prior to this visit and found that tasty as well! A little pricey for its size But very tasty. I haven’t been in for a pastry or coffee yet so I cannot speak on the validity of those items. However, the chicken shawarma sandwich is a gem! Totally recommend the pastry land! You don’t have to take my word for it go find out yourself….
