I completely forgot my phone when we came, so I wasn’t able to take any photos! This new spot took over what used to be an ice cream shop and has been transformed into a two-level venue. It’s going to be a great hangout during the warmer months, especially with the outdoor and upper deck seating.
Even though it was a bit chilly, we opted to sit outside and enjoy some drinks. I really appreciate that the menu includes zero-proof options for non-drinkers—definitely a thoughtful touch!
We ordered a few small plates to share: the queso dip, wings, and the Sunset Roll. Overall, we were a bit underwhelmed by the food. The wings were a highlight—they were all flats and had good flavor, though they could’ve been a bit crisper. The queso was hearty, with thick chunks of bacon, but it was served lukewarm, which affected the experience. It gave the impression it may have been prepped earlier and kept warm rather than freshly made.
Unfortunately, the sushi roll didn’t quite meet expectations. It wasn’t very fresh, and the rice had a stale texture, although the flavors themselves were decent.

Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recently hosted an event at Sunset Pier at Marina Bay in Quincy, MA, and couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out. Despite the summer heat, the rooftop pergola kept our guests comfortable and shaded, allowing everyone to truly enjoy the event.
The setting was absolutely stunning, right on the waterfront with breathtaking views and a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food, the energy of Sunset Pier, and the overall experience.
Special shoutout to Molly, our bartender, and the rest of the staff, especially Mariah and Sarah. Your attentiveness and warmth elevated the entire event. We felt genuinely cared for from start to finish.
Highly recommend Sunset Pier for private events, celebrations, or just a great night out. Exceptional service, an unbeatable location, and a space that brings...

The service wasn’t as stellar for me and my partner as other tables experienced from our same server. The lack of check-ins from our server, having to ask for plates and then again for napkins and silverware, along with just being left the machine to pay for our bill would be something we could write off as a bad night for our server if it weren’t for the misgendering my partner faced.
I did let the restaurant know privately several days ago, but haven’t received a follow up so I figured I’d post a warning for other LGBTQ couples. There’s other places you can spend your dollars and celebrate your love where the staff will make you...
