A beach for my dogs, par excellence! Regular traffic from other off-leash dog owners. All have been friendly that I have met. You've got some beach, with all the smells, for the dogs. A bit rocky for people, but a tenderfoot can still do it barefoot. I do. Good for my aging feet! It is lovely that it is so close to town! The only downside is that if you have to use highway 3 - be prepared for delays. I avoid 3 with a passion, as it is a guaranteed delay.

If you go here, be aware that this is where dog owners go to let their dogs off leash. I haven't been back to walk or run, and I live close by. Also, this area could be much nicer than it is. It has tremendous potential, but is full of overgrown shrubbery and broken glass bottles and other litter on the ground. I would not run alone here as a woman. There are nice views...
