I had the feeling the place had just been robbed. The door was propped open about 6 inches with a rock and the help seemed kind of stand-offish. While standing at the counter to make an order, I got the feeling that I dropped in uninvited and they weren't ready for company. The first employee walked past the registers without acknowledging my existence and yelled at someone in the back to come take care of me. I assumed she was management because that's how they operate these days...above dealing with customers and assume the customer can't see our hear them. My order was ready pretty quick. I had no sooner been summoned to help without pay when my order was done. When you order inside these days, it is automatically assumed that you will take on some employee duties. In this case, I placed my order and was handed an empty cup. I looked up at the guy who took my order and he pointed to a drink station about 15 feet away. He didn't want to hear what I wanted to drink. I started to ask "do you have..." and he announced "we have a drink station." I then completed my question "do you have sweet tea?" because some places do and some don't and I'm not a Coke guy. He just pointed to them. Read moreMy husband and I frequent Wendy's in Quincy Illinois. It used to be a decent place to eat. It is gone downhill quickly. Our last visit, my husband made the order and the receipt was correct. However the food was not. He brought it home that way, I made him eat his hot food before he corrected mine. The order was made by the manager. We paid for a big bacon classic and a baconator meal. Mine was supposed to be without mayo and onion. It was not. He took it back to get it fixed and when he brought it back to me, I had a Dave's single. I wasn't sending him back for a third time, so I decided to call. I let the phone ring continuously until it would disconnect. I'm not talking about just a few rings. It rang each time for over a minute and a half. I stopped trying after 5 minutes. They have poor service, and have ripped me off one too many times. I will be making a phone call to the better Business bureau about their conduct. I work at Sams Club in the cafe and I get more business then they do and I handle it by my self on a daily basis its not hard if they would just do there job and not talk as much and not have people waiting line for over 30 minutes waiting on 2 Jr bacon cheeseburgers. That's not service thats..... Let's just stand here and collect a check and not work for it mangagement needs to step it up here very badly and tell them not to keep talking about personal problems and do there job like there paid to do not take for ever and a day to get two burgers out never eating at a Wendy's again they need better people if they want...
