Be careful of making a reservation because even if you show up on time (or minutes early to be polite… ) unless EVERY single person in your party is present, you will NOT be seated. Even if you ASSURE them that the other 4 out of 10 people are coming within MINUTES… you and your family will be made to stand even if your 88 year old mother is in a wheelchair and it is her birthday. You will be made to wait because even though it was early enough in the evening that the entire dining room was empty (plenty of tables) and you could easily be seated, there is a POLICY.. that apparently can not be broken for any reason. Having been a very successful waitress for 40 out of the 58 years I’m alive..: I know that customer service is unique every day as each customer is different and there are times when policy can be circumvented to best serve the customer. Unless it would DIRECTLY affect other customers. We made a reservation for a certain time and we showed up, told the manager that the rest of our party was right behind us but apparently we were not to be trusted and might be liars so we had to wait. If the food wasn’t so good I would of turned around. This is no way to treat a customer and had you known how to accommodate our needs appropriately there would of been nothing that anyone need apologize for but instead you respond to my husband’s review of you and BERATE him?? And you suggest that WE choose kindness?? We chose to spend a hell of a lot of money at your restaurant and you have the nerve to try and belittle us for not agreeing with your policy?? WOW… it must be nice to have sooo much money that you don’t need anymore!!! Or does the owner feel that way too?? Good luck with your policies lol ps….why don’t you develop a policy of telling people at the time they make the reservation of your policy of needing the entire party present to be seated?? Rather than springing it on them at the time they arrive… here’s some more advice… if you absolutely can not accommodate them at their own table… ask if anyone NEEDS to sit down while waiting (since they weren’t anticipating having to wait) I have a special needs son who has sensory problems. Why aren’t those things taken into consideration regarding your “policy”.? UPDATE: response to owner…. You sure have a different view of the interaction because I was not yelling, I may of spoke loudly because I am deaf in one of my ears but I was not spitting in anyone’s face… you may feel the need to exaggerate the circumstances to make it “not your fault” for this review… but it was by no means anywhere near as explosive as you are implying!! If I would have seen someone actually CRYING… I WOULD have apologized for making them cry but I do not apologize for speaking up (which I NEVER said at the time so whoever repeated that is mistaken) but I’m saying it now:..had your manager came out and saw that we had two disabled adults and offered to seat us right away (again, policy’s can be over ridden as long as no direct effect to others) this whole point would be mute and there was no GOOD reason not to seat us… we assured your manager that our guests were MINUTES away and we were sat at the time we were SUPPOSED to be sat… not early so thank you for seating us at our designated reserved time. Personally… I think you need to tell people this when they make the reservation initially so people can be prepared. The fact that I was not shown kindness by your staff is the reason I reacted the way I did. I know I am not wrong and there is no way I would EVER step foot in that place after the way you respond to customer complaints and I will tell everyone who will listen not to waste their time. Go ahead and “spin” this all you want… your policy’s are terrible and the way you handle complaints is even worse. NO food is...

Read moreUPDATE: To this date (2/16/24), No one has contacted us despite multiple promises to call after emailing the aforementioned email the business listed below. I will start by saying that over the last 10 years, I have been to Reefpoint Brewhouse COUNTLESS times - multiple times a year with a group of 7+ friends (I always suggested Reefpoint for our spot), friends from out of town, date nights, family nights, have suggested it for others, and the list goes on. On 8/21/23, my family - 5 of us - went to Reefpoint for my son’s birthday. Afterward that night, we all felt sick, which hasn’t happened before. I called Reefpoint that week to express my concern. I was first transferred to a Justin, who transferred me to a man who was supposedly the manager. This individual asked me for my full name, but never gave me his. He completely discounted my concerns and tried to write it off saying, “Oh, a lot of our staff have been out with a stomach bug. That’s probably what you caught.” I said that would be interesting for all of us to catch a stomach bug exactly at the same time, right after a meal there. He kept saying, “I haven’t received any other complaints,” implying that he wasn’t believing my complaints. We spent over $150+ here this night, and all he could offer was a gift card for $11 despite the terrible experience with the food (which might I add was lacking in flavor as well - which was unusual). I said I didn’t think that was fair or worth it given the situation. He said if he received more complaints, he would do more. He then said “we’re actually busy right now. I’ll have to call you tomorrow.” I felt so dismissed. He said he would “talk to the chef” and call me back the next day. It has been 2 weeks, and no call. I’m not surprised given his attitude on the phone. I absolutely cannot believe that after the years I have spent coming here with family and friends and recommending it that this is the response. I can assure you my group of friends and I who used to attend several times a year will not be back; and neither will my family - no more recommendations for this place. Extremely disappointed and expected better. I hope the health department...
