I enjoyed the look of the place. The other workers seemed OK but I only really dealt with our waitress and that could have been better. The hostess did set up a table for an odd number without much wait. Being a Sunday morning, they seemed to be getting busy so it was appreciated. The atmosphere was very nice and a good location. Based on the crowd, this is a popular place. Understand that you might wait a little on a Sunday morning. They did have seats available to wait at a comfortable looking bar. As for the food, my waffle sounded great and the pecans and sauce were pretty good. The waffle itself was very dense and chewy. Not fluffy like I would expect a Belgian waffle. I didn't want to review this negatively if it was a grain batter that might come out a little dense so I asked the waitress. She said she didn't know what it was but she could ask. I told her that I would appreciate that but that was the last time it was even mentioned. No additional info. If you expect a waffle to be light and fluffy, don't order this one. I heard nothing bad about the rest of the food at our table. I'm going to say that those were pretty good based on how everyone finished their food. There was a little concern since we pre-checked the menu online and some of the vegan options were no longer offered. The website needs to be updated and the waitress needs to have a better understanding of what vegan options are. Her suggestions were not great and only partially helpful. A very good option was eventually determined and enjoyed. The menu did show a vegan symbol but it wasn't used on the menu. Additional comment about service. The waitress didn't seem interested in customer service. Didn't fill up the water bottle and even as we tried flagging her down a handful of times, she kind of glanced our way and continued walking to the kitchen or to a different table. I'm guessing she was just waiting for us to leave. Sadly, we would have been out of there quicker if she would have just stopped by our table one last time. I was watching other servers and they seemed a little more involved with their guests. I hope you get one of those servers. All things considered, this place is worth your time. A cool place with farm to table offerings.

TLDR; moldy fruit, undercooked food, + food poisoning My boyfriend and I were recommended this place and after seeing the online menu, I was pretty excited to try it out. I was bummed to learn they discontinued the fresh juices but was still eager to try some other things. We ordered the Mimosa flight and our waitress served it with obviously moldy fruit as a garnish. When I asked her to take the moldy fruit, she didn’t seem at all surprised and just said “yeah gotcha!” and didn’t offer new fruit or a remake. The drinks themselves weren’t great either, proportions seemed off but I’m not surprised as there was no bartender there. It was clear nothing was going to be done about this though and it cost nearly $18 so we forced ourselves to drink them. We also saw another server serve a table multiple mimosa flights and they all appeared to have good fruit on them so there was no reason to send out moldy fruit. My food on the other hand, I was unable to finish. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and while eating I found that two of them were still raw inside. There also wasn’t any fresh fruit on it as advertised. I only took a few bites from the one fully cooked pancake after that but my appetite was ruined. My boyfriend got the BLT and there was an insane amount of pepper on the bacon. He was only able to eat half of it before we decided to just call it, paid, and left. Also, the amount of fruit flies in there was insane and really killed the atmosphere but I know that’s a common problem for restaurants. Later that afternoon/evening, both of us suffered from food poisoning symptoms. He was on and off the toilet multiple times throughout the day and expressed that he was genuinely concerned about how ill he felt. I also experienced intense stomach pain/cramping. Overall, we were heavily disappointed in this place and it has earned a top spot on our “worst brunch experiences” list. If you choose to go here, CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU EAT IT.

Went here twice this week. One visit on a weekday morning at 8am my friend and I went for breakfast. We were seated right away. I've never been here before this visit but my friend had multiple times. She ordered her favorite mimosa and I had coffee with cream. My coffee was deep and rich and my cream arrived in a adorable tiny milk bottle. Friend ordered cheesy shrimp and grits. I ordered biscuits and gravy with sunnyside up eggs. As we were waiting for our meal...a small plate of sliced apples arrived with maple spread. Nice treat while we waited. Our breakfasts arrived promptly by our server Sarah. She was attentive and friendly. My friend loved her meal said it's her favorite savory breakfast here. Her favorites are the multiple versions of pancakes, waffles and french toast. My biscuit was big, tender and homemade split in half with sausage gravy with 2 perfect sunnyside up eggs. Crispy edge with perfect cooked egg white but nice runny yolks. My friend took 1/2 her meal home it was a good sized portion. I ate both eggs and 1/2 of my big biscuit. Took my other 1/2 home. The other visit was on a Saturday mid morning. The hostess Susan said the wait for 2 would be 1/2 hour. We were seated at a table in 15 minutes. While I waited, I bought a coffee with the adorable cream bottle at bar. Clay was our server arrived quickly asked if my husband wanted coffee too and brought us each a large glass of water. Clay refilled my near empty coffee cup. By the way the straws are not plastic they are eco friendly and held up well. Real cloth napkins too and paper takeout containers. My husband ordered lemon berry ricotta pancakes with fresh fruit and real maple syrup. Beautiful thin pancakes almost like a crepe but not quite that thin. Not the type of pancakes that turns into mush with toppings. I ordered a September special... green chili pulled pork on cheese grits with eggs. Eggs were on menu as poached but I asked for those perfect sunnyside up eggs again. Cumin southwest flavored pork shredded not chopped over grits. I could have used some more green chili sauce or salsa verde over pork but it still was scrumptious. Clay was attentive server. I brought 1/2 my pork home I didn't wish to be a pig. So good. Note weekend menu is only brunch items...weekdays also have salads, sandwiches and soups. Open until 2pm. Husband met owner very friendly asked us about our meal and service. Go here, try them out. Through I hope we can still get a...

Great new restaurant in downtown Racine! We checked out the Maple Table this morning and were not disappointed. It was an overall really good experience. We arrived pretty early around 7:40am and it seemed the young women hostess was just waking up because she barely got out the words how many. It would have been nice to get a hello or good morning or welcome or something. The dining room is decorated super cute with farm to table theme with a long bench on one side of the room with multiple tables and chairs lined up. It was fine until people were seated on each side of us and in such close proximity you feel almost like you are part of their conversation. Our server was training another server and greeted us with hello.

We ordered drinks that came out in nice mason type jars with paper straws already in the drinks. Thought it is great that you are using paper straws but would like the option to have a straw instead of it already put in my drink. Then it seemed like it took awhile for the servers to come out again to take our order.

I ordered the classic eggs Benedict with hash browns and hubby ordered the breakfast burrito. While we waited the server brought out complimentary apple slices with a maple cream cheese dip which was a nice touch and very good.

When our breakfast arrived it looked great however mine was luke warm but hubby’s was piping hot. The portions were huge and neither one of us could finish our meals. The hollandaise sauce was cooked perfectly I just wish there was a bit more of it since it was covering an egg, pulled ham, and a gigantic English muffin. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly and seemed very fresh and not made from a frozen bag which was awesome! I wish they offered half orders of the Benedicts as the muffin is very large and I was full after eating one half. My husband enjoyed his breakfast burrito and said it had a bit of a kick. Again the portion was huge and the presentation was beautiful. The bill totaled $27.

Overall a good experience. We look forward to going back to try other menu offerings and think this restaurant is a welcomed addition to the area. It is definitely worth checking them out if you...
