Updated Review - 6/17/23: Ivanhoe is a great place to eat. The atmosphere is incredible. The food is delicious. And the service is amazing. Super friendly. Helpful. And fun. The food is super delicious! Everything I have ever ordered there has been incredible. I could go to Ivanhoe and spend most of the time just looking at all the cool stuff they have on the walls. Plenty of tables and booths. The restrooms were clean. The parking is sometimes a little hard to find on Main St…. but there are parking garages close by. I highly recommend eating at The Ivanhoe Pub & Eatery! ————————————————————————— Updated Review - 5/23/23: This will kind of a strange review…. because all we ordered was two Caesar salads to go. They just sounded delicious and we knew how great they are from Ivanhoe Pub…. so, that was all we needed. AND…. We were happy we did. They were both incredible! Mmmm!!! Ivanhoe can be hit or miss for me with food and service. Lets start with some good things... I love their smoked gouda and roasted red pepper dip with the pita triangles (pretty sure I could eat a whole vat of that) and their sweet potato fries. Their bartender Matt is super friendly (he served us at a wedding recently and was great there too) and in the few times he's served my friends and I, the drinks have been good and plentiful. Now the eh moments. They have run out of certain foods maybe 2 or 3 times I've been there and the wait staff doesn't always tell you that until you've tried to order it (a heads up when the menu's are given would be nice). My most recently visit there was on a first Friday with 8 other people. Our waitress, whom I'm not sure ever gave us her name, came across a bit rude both when taking drink and food orders as she just looked at us like we were inconveniencing her. Two people ordered items that were unavailable and unknown to them until that moment, which made her have to wait longer to complete our order. When the food was served she walked away and we had no utensils and someone was missing a side. The place was busy (a given on a FF) which made the staff move a little more frantically and she was probably tired and was all over the place but that's the joys of customer service. You've got to suck it up, put a smile on your face and act like you love every moment of it. With that being said, this one experience isn't going to make me not go there, and I would definitely recommend going there for a meal, just do it when...

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick drink and some light food. Food, drinks and specialty drink menu with lots of options to satisfy most any appetite or thirst. Shepherds pie was delicious, so was the Ho-bread. We had a couple of the other specialty martinis, etc..

The only real issue I had is that I strongly dislike "service fees" being added to the bill without someone at least telling us they have been added. The service fee, although not calculated exactly, was about 7-8%. If the server tells us the fee was added, I don't have as much of a problem with it. However, just to add it to the bill and not say anything seems as though you are working for the "double tip" and hoping customers don't notice.... an otherwise very pleasant afternoon ended with a small sour taste because of this. I'm not sure where the fee goes, but I can only assume it goes to the servers? So I adjusted the tip accordingly.

That being said, the food was good and the service was friendly so I would certainly stop back if I was in...
