I recently stumbled upon this delightful local sandwich shop whose menu specializes in comfort food, offering a wide array of mouthwatering options and proof that, when coupled with solid food, people make all the difference.
We'll start with the baseline: reasonable pricing without compromising flavor or portion sizes. Our party walked in and ordered three different sandwiches, each crafted with care and attention to flavor. One, the Italian gyro, had peperoncini peppersāa nice touch that set the sandwich apart. It's the kind of place that feels like a warm hug in the form of food.
The food wasnāt the only thing at Tinoās that gave off hug vibes, the friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by the team is unparalleled. You're greeted with a smile from the moment you walk in, and their genuine enthusiasm for good food is contagious. The wait for the made-to-order food was about ten minutes, and during that time (which flew by), it was clear, they love what they do. In fact, theyāre set up for carry outāand encourage you to order ahead and drive through for convenienceābut I canāt imagine returning and not going inside. Their smiles and friendly banter made the experience unique.
Whether you're a local looking for a new favorite lunch spot or just passing through, give this sandwich shop a try. Good food, decent prices, and a staff that makes you feel like family ā what more could you ask for? Highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered a Philly cheese steak meal and a hot wing meal. The hot wing meal wasnt mine but I tried one Wings way to soft and saturated with bottled sauce.Fries are shoestring and can't be reheated..The Philly cheese steak was not what I expected Restaurant is for sure overpriced. Returned the Philly cheese steak meal after two bites. Asked to speak to the owner I live out of town and it's been over 20 yrs so I expected the husband and wife and was disappointed to find they no longer owned the restaurant.Either way the Philly cheese was horrible .I was asked what was wrong with it and told that hundreds are sold. That could be possibly because they haven't had a decent Philly cheese. The meat was hard, not seasoned well and dry Yet it was a decent size and full of mushrooms.I explained everyone's taste buds are different and this just is not how you prepare a Philly cheese. The manager was a bit bothered by all my responses, and asked did I eat it right away or wait.Shouldnt matter good food is good food.Overpriced for sure $39 for two meals that were below average.Do better .Gyros and pizza puffs are always a hit so if I dine again I will stick to those. Scared to try the fish or rib platters .Again everyone has different taste buds .People in town say food is good this isn't always...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!!! Their food is so good. I have NEVER been disappointed with ANY purchase that I have made. My meals are always hot and ready to go and enjoy! The Gyro's are authentic and quite filling. Fried foods are crisp and fresh. Truly al dente! Cooking oils never leave an aftertaste. Rib tip dinners are superb with succulent barbeque sauce that's both sweet and tangy while the meat is moist and tender. Tino's can be quite busy at lunch and dinner time but, that is to be expected as it shows the sign of a quality restaurant. Any restaurant that does not have a large following of customers is lacking in some area. Albeit with service, food or professionalism. The staff are very friendly, professional and exceedingly capable in multi-tasking! From greeting customers as soon as they walk in the door to answering the phone for telephone orders, cooking, stacking and packing the orders and ending the transaction with a smile a, "Thank You" and "Have a Nice Day", I assure you, you will not regret eating at Tino's Restaurant on Washington Avenue in Racine, Wisconsin. I gave Tino's a FIVE-STAR RATING because that is what they deserve. They are excellent! Try them. You won't be disappointed. PAR...
