I recently ordered a 50th wedding anniversary arrangement for my parents. I gave a price point of up to $250 and said I wanted it lush, big, beautiful and if possible including orange roses since that is what they had at their wedding. They said they would make it something special and never asked me questions on what type of flowers to use or not to use. My learning lesson to be more specific next time.

The flowers delivered included carnations and fell apart within 24 hours. I was charged $220. Definitely not the arrangement expected for the price point. Instead it looked as if I could get it at the grocery store for a fraction of the price.

I have been calling for 2 weeks to try to rectify the situation. My mom also called to voice her disappointment and they at first said they were unable to locate the order. I finally got ahold of someone a week later and they say they can’t do anything until the owner calls. Today I got a call from the designer who took the order basically telling me it was a nice arrangement and it’s my fault for not being more specific on what flowers to or not to include. Even if that’s true, there was no apology or attempt to try to fix the situation. Only the owner can.

Going on week 2 of trying to get a call back. I have been holding out on writing a review hoping we could just fix this and move on. I am extremely disappointed in this local shop and embarrassed by what was sent to my parents. Not only was the arrangement not modern, fresh or impressive, the customer service, except from Dana, has been horrendous. I ordered flowers yesterday by a florist called flowers by Walter in Racine Wisconsin I place the order I said delivery must be between nine and 915 today flowers never arrived on time I proceeded to find the order call them I called them six times the first time they said they didn’t have the order asked me if I ordered from the wrong place the next time I called back she said it was delivered to the wrong place the third time I called back she told me she was too busy she was dealing with the wedding and she call me back she never called backI called back again and then was very rude woman the same woman I was dealing with said they never were delivered they were in the back of the van and they’re going to have them delivered now my boyfriend said they were delivered I called and they said how are they he said they were cute and that was it I said send me a picture he sent me a picture I wish I could attach this and you could see this it was a small skinny vase with three roses and two other flowers and a balloon and the most hideous bear I have ever seen what I want it was a basket full of manly flowers a balloon and a very small bearThe total on my charge card was $77.26 again $77.26 charge to deliver the flowers was only nine dollars so the rest of that was worth $67 so to speak no way I don’t know what to do it was the most horrible experience I have ever had the woman was so rude and she knew what she was sending me and it was just hideous I just feel bad for my boyfriend he said he must think I have the iamb the cheapest person in the world do you not go...

Earlier this week my boyfriend and I were celebrating our 2 year anniversary, nothing big - we just planned to get dinner and I said no need for presents or to buy me flowers (however don't all girls say that in a "you don't have to buy me flowers but I certainty do love flowers" kind of way). Really, I did not need anything and did not expect anything. Well I get to work and of course there is a beautiful fall themed boutique on my desk. I AM SO HAPPY. I am so impressed with the choice of flowers (crazy cool orange flowers standing out in the middle), colors, (the touch of purple in the orange/red bunch -perfect!), how the vase pulls the fall theme all together (It is pretty much screaming bring on the apple picking, hoodies, leaves changing pretty colors weather!), and how long they last. For the last few "life celebrations", my bf has surprised me with Flowers by Walter at work and I am always ecstatic. Every boutique has been unique and modern - nothing ever cliche. Honestly, like my smile is extra wide. You guys are awesome! Your passion for flower shines through so much I felt the need to write a review and let you know.
