The owners are very kind and my kids always enjoy playing there. Unfortunately the set up stresses me out. I had monthly passes last year and they have a rule to keep toys in one area. Well I had 3 kids and I would come with my friends who also have large families. So we paid pretty good money to go. Well since kids are kids, toys are not going to stay in one section. And there are so many little toys! So we would do a midway cleanup and a final clean up instead of trying to follow the kids and keep everything where it belongs. We got handed cards on the rules of the playspace because the hostess complained to the owners we weren’t cleaning enough. (I’m not assuming she did, I asked her after). Also 2/3 of that place is food, so it makes it super difficult to figure out where everything goes back to. It’s too much money to go there and feel like I have to follow the kids and make sure they’re keeping everything in one place. Maybe it’s more of a place for families with one or two kids, where they can keep track better. Also they lowered the age from 9 to 6. Not sure if that changed, but I can’t go now because my oldest can’t play. I’m posting this a year later because they just bought The Nest in Racine where the amount of toys was perfect and much easier to get the kids to keep it in one spot because of the set up. Also easier clean up. I’m hoping when they revamp, they won’t jam as many toys in there and make it all food where organization is...
Read moreI drove 30 minutes here as I have heard good things but unfortunately our visit was HORRIBLE. I brought by 2 year old son here and it was a very overwhelming experience. The lady at the front was nice and informed us that only socks were allowed in the play area, so I bought a pair from them as I was wearing sandals at the time- of course, no big deal. As soon as we walked into the playroom it was a DISASTER. The floor was covered in toys my son couldn't even walk through. Every single room was not put together- you couldn't even tell what was what. I understand children make messes but this was absolutely unacceptable. There were multiple people with NO socks on which is very unsanitary, especially for littles. If you are going to tell one customer something- hold all customers to the same standard. Bigger children were throwing things and punching each other with no adult supervision. I was the ONLY adult in there. We lasted probably 20 minutes until I decided it was time for us to leave. It was too overwhelming for not only me as an adult but my 2 year old son. It was not even worth getting my 10 dollars back. I'm sad that this was my experience as I love to support...
Read moreMust be a bad day. Their music shuts off and then comes back on and then shuts off. I finally asked if they could just shut it off. The wi-fi is practically nonexistent. She said it’s “been like this for a couple days” but already tried restarting the wifi. I then suggested calling her provider to come out and take a look. She didn’t apologize, didn’t call, couldn’t care less. This is our first time here and I needed a chance to do some job hunting but I can’t. My daughter enjoyed all the stations. I won’t be back until this internet issue is taken care of. I feel like I should’ve gotten a discount.
Update: You know, the lights are complimentary, too… but you’d want to fix that… right? Definitely won’t be coming back now. Not that they seem to care. Why are there seats and where are the rules for play? I don’t get it. I’ll just play at home where we interact- that’s free and everything works. (Then again, I handle my house and don’t make excuses.) Or even the library! Free play for her and I get some work done without judgement on my interactions with my child.
Second update: my husband said, “Why do they even offer wifi at all? You’re supposed to be interacting...
