TLDR: MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR RECIEPTS!
I've had a couple issues with the manager at this location, like the time he gave me someone else's sandwhich and than argues with me that's what I ordered (I ordered a Italian BMT and was given a "cold cuts - bologna") but today crossed the line and I will not be returning while he works there, I ordered my sandwhichs and got up to the register to pay I NEVER TOUCHED THE MACHINE all I did was touch my card to to the tap to pay, and somehow got charged a 5.49 dollar tip, when I inquired about it all I got was him trying to gaslight me that I did that and that it was my mistake. And he tried to shame me in the store, he did put 5 dollars on the counter saying he would pay for my mistake cause he didn't want my money. With his attitude and statements I wasn't comfortable taking the cash and walked out. This guy is extremely rude. The ladies who took the orders and made the sandwiches were great, the manager is a giant NO.
So I want yo take a moment to set a lil straight, the manager did not add the tip and is probably unaware of exactly what how happened as I was. I have confirmed the mishap at other locations. If you do not hit the red button or skip on the tip selection and just hold your card to the machine it does go forth automatically selecting recommended option. Meaning you have to make sure to select no tip or skip or pay a automatic tip. 2 other stores I went to are unaware this can happen till I tested and showed them. If your preference is for the employee to change gloves and be the only one to handle your sandwich from beginning to end, I highly recommend you stay away from this location (Radcliff, KY, store #7483). They are inconvenienced when you ask for them to change gloves and only allow one person to make you veggie sandwich from beginning to end. I was humiliated, embarrassed in front of customers, ignored by management, laughed at and mocked by employees and indirectly told to leave by them repeating, "have a good day" as I was still standing there waiting for the manager to give me her information which i had to ask for several times. I have never had any problems with any Any food establishment to include any other subway in Radcliff, Elizabethtown, or Fort know and I always tip them for the extra effort but this store is ran by a supervisor who appears to be friends with her employees so when they summoned her for me, they told her immediately that they did nothing wrong and she agreed with them even though she did not witness the interaction.
