I like Orschelin in general and often shoot here as they have several things I like for pets and gardening. Last week I wanted to buy some plastic shelving for my garage. The size I wanted was on display and one larger. But the boxed shelves were a different size so I went up front and asked the cashier. She said I would need to get the # off the box so I went back and took a photo of the sky number so she could look up the price. There were no more of the display size avalable so I decided to buy the bigger one which was $20 more. She said that size might be in the next truck but that didn't really help me right now. I then went back and brought the shelving to the registers ...not easy as it was large and difficult to get in a basket. There was a different cashier now. After asking me if I'm military I offered that I'm not but what about senior discount she said, no, that's Wednesday. Then she handed me my receipt and pointed to the bottom where I could do a survey online. She said, "if you don't know how maybe you can get someone to help you.". 😂. I guess she was suggesting that I'm too old to know how to get on the internet. I'm more than capable.. I'm not sure how often I'll shop here in future due to this overall experience. Hope this is helpful to encourage better customer service....

I personally love going here. It is not as well known as Rural King, and now Mernard's in the Etown, Radcliff, and surrounding areas, so it is not as crowded. They are smaller than the two stores mentioned above, but still have great stock. They basically combined a tractor/farm supply, pet, automotive, tools,sporting, and clothing store in a neat, organized facility. The employees are always helpful and pleasant and I have never come across a line longer than two people ahead of me at checkout.
