I have been to this location many times and haven't had such poor service as I experienced today. Walking in, the place was pretty crowded with people who already received their pizzas. There were not many pizza's out for some reason and I noticed they no longer separate the meat pies vs veggie pies - what little was there was all intertwined. Given that there were very little pizza's prepared, I ordered 2 custom pies, one with vegan cheese. My order was placed around 2:20. As time was passing, I noticed the place was clearing out, as well as new customers already getting there pizza, eating it, and leaving. So I approached the counter inquiring about the pizzas and the cashier tried to say, "it usually takes longer for the vegan cheese to melt." When I checked the time, it was 3:00pm and still no pizzas!! The other worker went in the back to check and said it will be another 7 minutes for the vegan pizza...okay so where was the other pizza? Sitting in the back cold I presumed? Finally at 3:10 the pizzas were brought out, but for some reason the guy put them in to-go boxes, even though we were clearly sitting down to dine-in. The one pizza was in fact less fresh than the vegan pizza. I could not believe it took almost an hour for thin crust pizzas that were sub-par in comparison to previous visits. The guy working had a very condescending demeanor and voice while bringing the pizzas out, as if I was being ridiculous for wondering where they had been all this time. I honestly do not know if I will be returning to this location. I have never had to wait that long, let alone at other pizza establishments just because of...
Read moreI want to preface this review by saying that I love the Jules locations in North Wales and Doylestown. I have ordered from both of them multiple times and have always had a great experience and gotten great food. HOWEVER...this location is a mess. I went today and had a horrible experience. I ordered the Mediterranean salad, super simple I didn't even want any dressing. When I ordered the cashier seemed really disinterested in even being there and I actually had to ask him to ring me up. Anyway, half hour later I still hadn't gotten my salad. When I went up to the counter and asked him how much longer it would be he said: "oh...we might have to cancel that" and then walked away without another word. Ummmm what?? I paid for it so I expect to get it?? He did end up bringing it out to me ten minutes later and it was the saddest salad, almost no toppings, and the lemon slices I asked for were tossed in a paper water cup on the side, without a lid or anything. On top of all of that, the staff in general seemed really disorganized and confused and I saw multiple people waiting for extended periods of time without even being addressed by the staff. As someone who has worked in food service and knows how difficult it is with everything that is going on I really want to be understanding. But there's really no excuse for such poor poor service. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location and might recommend that others try one of the many pizza options in the Wayne...
Read moreMe and the wife went to pa for a "light show" we looked to see what was around and chose jules thin crust. We got 4=small pies. $10 each. A lot to choose from. We got 1=potato carbonara pie, 1=Nashville chicken pie, 1=pear pie, 1=mexican pie.
Personally recommend nashville chicken was top favorite. 2nd was the potato carbonara,
The pear pie was deicious, but a little on deserty side. And mexican pie was good. It has a black bean base. Good for vegetarian. Was a good pie.
I would like to see a primavera type veggie pie. Im not into the feta and black olive type veggie pie. I want broccolli and veggies. Just a veggie pie. Thats usually my go to. They offer custom, but its a little confusing woth the pocking the crust and the herbs. Probably not that hard. But tricky for a first timer.
That nashville chicken was perfect. I dont even like spicy chicken and pickles. But they do it right. I would definitely order from jules everytime for pizza if they had...
