ordered my food 2 cali rolls for daughter, 2 house lo mein for me and my son, one lo mein order was missed . She brought the food out 2 rolls and 1 lo mein. My two kids got their food at least. Her hands were full i figured she would be right back. waitress ignored me each time I tried to get her attention. I went to the counter to ask about it. She wanted to tell me she I didnt order what I ordered. If she missed it or mis heard, All she had to do was say i will get it for you. instead she was telling me I didnt order anything for me.
After a few minutes of telling her I didnt get any food that i ordered, and she telling me no i didnt, she asked if i wanted to order another. I finally had enough and said never mind. They started apologizing then.
Food is ok, ate there before, just wished they got the order right or at least said hey I will get it for you. instead of telling me I didnt order food for me. Its stupid to tell me i didnt order food for me. if you mis heard/mis understood that is ok, dont argue with me.
Best of luck if you go there. you may or may not get it. the last time they missed an item on a to go order, but I got home and noticed and that was on me not checking. I ended up getting Panda express for me. They at least got my order right it was pretty good.
Would have been nice to eat...
Read moreI heard that Oishi was good. I went tonight and ordered a Hibachi Dinner of steak and chicken (comes with rice and salad). Side of fried rice, sushi, and soup. I got a tiny tray with rice, steak, and chicken. Then a tiny tray of sushi. And the soup had zero veggies or tofu in it. Basically just chicken broth. I went back in and asked the woman at the desk for the side of rice and salad and she said it was all there. I get home and for sure no salad. Barely enough rice for two people to have a bowl which I ordered additional to what came with the original meal. And the soup was disgusting. Definitely don't eat here unless you want to argue your way into what you paid for. I shouldn't have taken her word for it but hey you assume someone who is a local owned business would want to make sure they provide a good service. I own't be back....
Read moreEverything is cooked to order at Oishi Express. It's fast, so there is a lot of take out there. Dine in is an option too. The interior design is straightforward and it's a little dim but it adds to the "hope in the wall" vibe, you know the kind of place where the food is good but it's in an unassuming place. The rolls are fresh and tasty; their ginger dressing salad is always satisfying. You can go with steamed or fried dumplings with a light, umami sauce (yum!), or try a hibachi meal or one of several types of fried rice.
The waitress pays attention to your likes over time. It's lovely she remembers what I like to drink without having to remind her.
The added plus to this place is its location at the corner of Highways 77 and 411. Parking is ample and this is a handicap...
