XeroCal — Restaurant in Rainbow City

I wanted to love this. I’ve heard so many good things about this. But, my experience is the exact opposite. I ordered a Dragon Power Bowl, for a curbside pickup order. The website, in the picture I’ve attached, shows a Dragon Power Bowl, with fresh strawberries and blueberries. The one I received looked nothing like the advertised picture. I called and spoke to kind girl named Bella and she explained that they switched to frozen strawberries. This is false advertising. I appreciated her kindness, but it completely changes the taste of the bowl. The frozen strawberries thawed has the worst mushy texture and turn into a syrup, which causes the bowl to be too sweet. Constructive criticism, please don’t advertise as fresh fruit and then switch to frozen without prior warning. I wanted to love this, but unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be back...

My experience with XeroCal was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the cleanliness of the store. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and went out of their way to ensure I had a great experience. As for the food and drinks, the smoothies and bowls exceeded all my expectations they were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s rare to find a place that combines great service, a welcoming environment and delicious, healthy options all in one. As an out of towner, this establishment is definitely worth the hype it gets on social media. My entire experience was amazing from start to finish. Walking through the door I was impressed on just how clean the environment was, it was literally immaculate. The cashier was very professional and patient as we looked over the various items on the menu and answered each of my questions concerning the ingredients with a smile on her face. The fact that I was able to observe fresh ingredients being used for my orders was definitely an added bonus.
