I will echo previous reviewers and share that service could improve. It seems they don’t have a solid system down just yet. Don’t expect to be waited on, as you need to order from the bar. This was odd to me, as there were plenty of servers. The food was average, considering the price. It’s clear the main reason you would want to go check this place out is for the view, which is worth it. Grab a cocktail, snap a pic, and then scoot! Also to note, several months ago, several friends and I tried visiting 10th and Terrace and were turned away because a couple of my friends were wearing jean shorts. This was pretty disappointing considering the bar had three patrons at the time. Furthermore, when I returned this weekend to finally check it out, I noticed more than a few people wearing jeans, jean shorts, and flip flops...flip flops. Seems like they updated their dress code, but it left a pretty bad taste in my friends’ mouths, resulting in them not returning with me. Just a FYI in case you show up in a more strict evening...

The views and food/drinks are great, but service is not. We ordered a charcuterie board to share and were given no napkins, plates, or eating utensils. We sat with empty drinks for 5 minutes before we were asked if we wanted additional drinks. By that point I was just ready to leave so we asked for the check. To my surprise, my $9 glass of Pinot Noir turned into a $13 glass. I showed the waiter what I ordered where it clearly said $9. He apologized and went inside to fix it. When he came out he said it would take 10 to 15 minutes to fix. Working at a restaurant myself I know that a manager has to undo the charge OR you can just ring in a new order without making the drink. He insisted it would take 15 minutes so I forked over the extra $4 and left. Normally I really don't care, but this mistake was absurd. See the picture attached. Where do you see a $13 Pinot Noir by the glass? Because I certainly don't. I think with better customer service this place would do a lot better.

Stopped in before a show at Raleigh Memorial. Perfect location right across the street. Made reservations for outdoor seating. All of the tables had reserved placards on them, but I saw a few people have no trouble walking in and getting a seat out there (5pm-ish). Note that if you sit right along wall, it can get hot and sunny depending on time of day. We ordered cocktails and two flatbreads. They were so yummy and unexpectedly good and simple. Food and drinks came quickly. We were helped by multiple people - it seems they work in unison instead of one assigned server. Everyone was friendly and fast. A little on the expensive side but relative to price downtown location and atmosphere (hotel rooftop bar).

What an absolutely beautiful man! First and foremost I really want to point out the star of the bar. Rudolph aka. Mr.Valentino ❤️‍🔥 what an amazing person to walk to the bar and completely be greeted with open arms and professionalism. I’ve been in the restaurant business for 20years the nightclubs industry up until recently due to covid. It was such an amazing experience to have a person take your stop in for a drink, to completely making your night! I can’t even tell you how much I’ve trained customer service representatives to be an extension of the hotel and bar to make people feel like something more than just guest. And to sum it up from the second we interacted I felt like I was at a friends house enjoy the company of a person I’ve known my whole life polite, knowledgeable, funny , interesting and more than anything welcoming! This treatment style is a gift and it’s natural can’t be taught in this industry it’s known as the master of treatment a true Sommelier of customer treatment and I’m new to the area and my business is growing this area and I will never explore any other options. Every meeting every luncheon and every banquet will always be at this establishment! Customer care and treatment was hands down unbelievable and I can’t wait to spend more money because of the amazing service from the moment I walked in the door! ( my wife and I were soaking wet and carrying a equally wet blanket from a show we attended, We looked a little down on our luck. We were directed to the bar by the front desk! ❤️ We got off the elevator and customer looked at us a little weird but not the staff. Not at all we were wet and danced out. Looks can be deceiving we enjoyed the company and we loved the patio Rudolph was an amazing man made our first night out in a year absolutely beautiful thank you all for being a huge part of us finally getting...

When I was a restaurant manager I would have done anything to have the kind of staff that my girlfriend and I sat down with on Saturday evening. We started here at 10th and Terrace before dining downstairs only to quickly return upstairs for the pure enjoyment of the staff. In an industry that lives and dies by reviews I couldn't forgive myself if all of these amazing people didn't get some recognition. Even those not serving us at the bar were a delight. Greg, Jenny, Jamie, and Hailey were all a very nice breath of fresh air in a time when finding fun, knowledgeable, and skillful restaurant/bar staff has been hard to find since Covid rattled the industry. Without diminishing any of the others, Hailey our bartender was our favorite part of the evening. Her love for her craft shows through every pour, shake, and aesthetic of every drink she made paired with an incredible personality that every bar goer desires. Whenever we travel back to Raleigh in the coming weeks we will for sure be stopping by to enjoy another evening with this crew! Also the prosciutto flatbread was amazing and prices were as expected for a classy bar and...

We recently celebrated my wife’s birthday at Tenth & Terrace, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the stunning view and the warm atmosphere.

The food was absolutely fantastic. The short rib tacos were a standout, and the whipped feta appetizer was pure bliss. We also loved the roasted garlic and brie, which was just amazing. But what truly set the evening apart was the personal touch.

When I made the reservation, I mentioned it was my wife’s first birthday without her mom, who had recently passed away. The staff remembered this detail and made the evening so special. They surprised her with a complimentary dessert to take home, which was such a thoughtful gesture that we deeply appreciated.

Our server, Theresa, was phenomenal. She was incredibly attentive, always there the moment we needed anything, and made us feel so well taken care of.

All in all, Tenth & Terrace gave us a beautiful, heartfelt evening that we’ll remember for a long time. We can’t recommend it enough, especially with the wonderful service...
