I genuinely had a panic attack outside of this bar due to their lack of help and horrendous treatment of my friends, but specifically me. Dancing with the people in there was the only bright side, as everyone was fun and social. I had to use the restroom, and after seeing the the men’s bathroom was full with a line (and extremely gross on the floors), I shielded my eyes and asked the women in their restroom if I could go to the bathroom, explaining I was gay. This was definitely inappropriate, and I can admit I should have never done it, however nobody had an issue. After finishing in the bathroom a bouncer was waiting by the entrance to the restroom to escort me out; again, I completely understand this part. When I got outside, I went to contact my friends since I wasn’t able to tell them what happened, and I realized I left my phone in the girl’s bathroom. I told this to one of the bouncers, he told someone else, and both of them stayed at the club entrance. I started freaking out because I couldn’t reach my friends, and I was afraid of my phone being stolen, especially with hundreds of people being on the streets for Halloween weekend. I asked the bouncer if I could be escorted in to retrieve my phone, and he said no. I was bawling my eyes out, and thankfully some of my friends came out and found me, but it took an addition 30 minutes to find my phone. Like I said, I’m not upset I was kicked out, as that is something I shouldn’t have done; but there was no effort to find my phone, to help me in a situation that genuinely is scary. It ruined the night, there is no compassion or empathy with the employees. My friends experienced their own troubles with the staff, but this review is already long enough. Please go elsewhere, there are so many other clubs and bars that will treat...
Read moreI thought tonight would be a lot fun with my boys. We hung out and decided to go to Alchemy in Raleigh. However, I had a young man named Andrew decide it would be a good idea to put his hands on my throat and try to drag me out. Only because I told him it wasn't right to pull a chair from beneath a young lady who sat beside me. She fell on the floor, angry and inebriated. I told him it wasn't right and he decided I shouldn't be there. He told me to leave. I said "Ok, let me get my card." He put his hands around my throat and tried to pull me away. I wanted to fight, I wanted to fight back. I decided to keep my hands in the air with his hands around my neck (and shirt) and hope for the police to help me. The policeman outside told me he only saw the guy's hands up (on the top part of my body), leading me out. Once outside, I asked for names. The guy told me his name was Andrew. Andrew, who put his hands on me, did not want to give me his last name. I wrote down a discription of him with red hair and a beard. The officer outside could not pressure him for it. I was embarrased because I was being treated as a drunk patron, even though I was not.
I began to file a report, and came back for details. I spoke to the owner who told me my story didn't match with what he was told.
This has been a horrible experience. His employee escalated a situation for no reason and called the young lady fat. I've never seen anything like...
Read moreTotal disrespect😩. I am considered a regular of this club. I have been coming to this club every Friday and Saturday night for months. I have an incredible time, meet many many people, and people dance with me, so that they can have a good time. I dance for four hours every night, and people come to this club to have a good time. Tonight I was totally disrespected by a bouncer, that had a problem with where I placed an empty glass. I was careful to make sure that the glass would not break, and set it up on the DJ ledge. I dance with my eyes closed 90% of the time , and apparently, this bouncer, stated that he addressed it with me, but I don’t remember a thing, since my eyes were closed. He then asked me to leave the club, disgracing me in front of my friends. This was total disrespect, and I have assured him, that I will tell every friend, every person that has ever entered this club, to never come back here again. This was an uncalled for response. I personally will never step foot in this club again, since the disrespect was unbelievable. This could’ve been totally avoided, if the bouncer had just taken the glass, and walked it over to the bartender. The total disrespect and dishonor, for a regular customer, is unbelievable. Please do not come to this club, since there are many other clubs, that have fantastic bartenders, bouncers, and managers, that want your business. Let’s shut this club down. It...
