We have officially done all escape rooms at Nerd Escapes. Today we did The Gallery room first, it was challenging and took us a bit to get started but we were able to escape with 11 minutes to spare. Immediately after we decided to try Showdown which are two identical escape rooms and you compete to win. We divided our group into adults (2 of us) vs kids (ages 13, 16, 18). We were neck n neck until the last two parts. The adults ended up winning but both groups escaped. The Showdown was absolutely incredible. When we left, we talked about it for 30 minutes on our drive. The details were amazing and it had a great flow to it. They told us we were the 8th group to play it. The adults asked for 1 hint. The kids needed a little more help mainly at the end. Everyone had a blast and I would recommend that to everyone. I wish more escape places would have Showdown. I also liked how everything really went together in the room, it all fit well with the theme! My husband and I did Chernobyl and The Return a month ago for our anniversary. Absolutely worth it for those rooms too. They put really great detail into the rooms and everything is very intentional. We asked for 1 clue in the return, honestly don't think we would have escaped without that clue. Chernobyl, we asked for 2 hints if I remember correctly. I love that in both of these rooms there were so many unexpected things that happened. We did escape both rooms with a few minutes to spare. I was incredibly impressed with Nerd Escapes. I wish they had more rooms to try! Hopefully they expand someday because whoever designs these rooms has done a very good job!

THIS EXPERIENCE WAS AWESOME!!!! The rooms are soooo well thought out. We had ugly Christmas sweater day with our friends and we were still celebrating my husband’s birthday. This was my husband’s first time in an escape room and…..HE LOVED IT!!! To see my husband engaged, intrigued, laughing, confused, thinking hard, etc was so rewarding to me. I’m not the one to always leave a review but this was soooo fun. We will be back to explore the other rooms. Also, the workers are so pleasant, they gave great clues/hints. But guess what…THE HINTS ARE UNLIMITED. Most escape rooms you pay a lot of money and then only get 3 clues and left to figure it out alone. But not ,this one!!!! They encouraged us and gave the clues slow enough for us to hear and understand. It was a great experience!! Also, do not park on the other side of the fence. Make sure you read your email and park INSIDE the fence so you don’t have to pay for parking. We got a citation for not following instructions provided in the email. Even when we received the citation and asked for explanation the workers were still pleasant even if it was a hard or uncomfortable conversation to have. I RECOMMEND! Veryyyy fun. The room sold me but the customer service sold me as well. Yes, GO! Yes book it! Yes your family and friends will love it!!!

We decided to do an escape room as a family (one of the kids summer adventure requests). A couple of the kids had done escape rooms before, so they knew what they were looking for. One of them had heard of Prison Break and thought that one would be cool to do as a family. So we going it and booked it. The booking process was very simple and the Escape Room as easy to find. They actually have 3 locations are right next to each other for a grand total of 11 Escape Room adventures. Which means we'll definitely have to do another one. This one was a lot of fun for us! The first two rooms we got through with no clues needed, but once we got to the third room, we had to start asking for some help. This was definitely tricky, but the teamwork was a great bonding experience. Overall, I highly recommend this adventure!

I booked my first escape room with NERD for my birthday in December 2024, and little did I know I was signing up for a brand-new obsession. In just two months, I’ve been back FOUR times—yes, FOUR! At this rate, I’m practically expecting a cot in one of the rooms! (NERD, let's talk!)

Each visit has been an absolute riot. My friends and I have faced off against Dracula (spoiler alert: the guy is not a gracious host), competed in a high-stakes showdown to steal a diamond before a rival team of mobsters (my “criminal mastermind” resume now has some serious credibility), plotted our way out of prison (orange is still not my color), and then there’s the City with No Sun, where you have to rely on your other senses to solve puzzles in complete darkness—imagine solving mysteries with just your ears, hands, nose, and tongue? BYOHS (Bring Your Own Hand Sanitizer) for after on the last one.

Every single room has been thrilling, immersive, and ridiculously fun!

But the real magic of NERD Escape Room is the staff. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, and know exactly when to swoop in with just the right amount of help (because no one wants to be stuck on the same puzzle for eternity). They make you feel like an absolute genius when you solve something, even if the solution involved a clue you overlooked for 20 minutes.

NERD Escape Room is perfect for friend outings, small parties, or proving once and for all who in your group is the brains of the operation. Just be warned: once you escape, you’ll want to come back for more. Again. And again. And again. 100/10...
