Revisn — Hotel in Raleigh

The place was nice and spacious. However, there were several things that didn’t sit right with me during my stay. First, I never got into the parking garage. I was there from June to the end of July. As a result, I had to struggle to find parking just about everyday. I worked as a nurse intern so I got off late and there would be no parking by the time I got home. I had to pay for parking on several occasions and was ticketed on several occasions. I was told that there was a parking garage a few blocks away. I’m a female and walking at night by myself is unsafe. Second, the TV’s did not work for me. They are Samsung and Apple does not have a compatible app with that. Third, the staff put dirty dishes in the dishwasher without washing them. I opened the dishwasher and it was just wet, dirty dishes. It smelled horrible for days. I usually wash my own dishes but I had three 12 hour shifts in a row that week. Fourth, the management is trying to charge me $252.04 for a slightly stained pillowcase and 2 pillows. As we transitioned out of Raleigh, we spent a full month (November to December of 2018) at Revisn. Being frequent travelers we found Revisn to be very accommodating. Revisn is steps above any executive or extended stay we have used in the past. Our apartment was a one bedroom that was appointed to the highest standards. The soft furnishings were comfortable, custom furniture was made for the convenience of working, fully furnished kitchen and washer/dryer. The other extras were secure parking and weekly maid service. Most convenient was the location of the property, with easy access to the highways in any direction and local amenities are steps away. Glenwood South is one block away, where you can find some of the best restaurants and bars in Raleigh. Dogs are welcome and the neighborhood is dog friendly with dog waste stations throughout. What topped off our stay was the Revisn staff, from arrival to departure we were treated like VIPs, including Angus (our dog). The staff is professional, accommodating and kind. Review |Clean. Excellent response by owners management. Excellent linens, towels, hair dryer, comfortable bed & decent TV (after I was relieved due to major issues on lower floor. Washer dryer combination is a joke. Don’t plan doing laundry. I had to take clothes to my bosses house dry. The tenant instructions they leave are just wrong and need to be redone for all the electronics. Did not use after work out of respect for neighbors. It takes 6 minutes for shower to get hot, with Wimp rain, shower, hard to wash hair. Shower has no shelf for your shampoo. 6” soap dish.
