I was pleasantly surprised by the authentic Hokkaido-style ramen offered at this restaurant located in downtown Raleigh. As I walked into the establishment, I was immediately greeted with warm and friendly Japanese-style hospitality by the staff. I must admit, I was initially taken aback when I saw a menu featuring Chinese fast food items displayed on the walls. However, the staff patiently explained that they serve Chinese fast food during lunchtime to cater to the local crowd, while they focus on Japanese ramen for dinner to offer a more diverse culinary experience to the residents and visitors alike.
After careful consideration, I opted for the Tonkotsu Ramen, and it was an absolute delight. The broth was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of flavors that left me craving more. The noodles were cooked to perfection—firm with just the right amount of chewiness, exactly how I like them. The slices of pork were tender and juicy, practically melting in my mouth. On the other hand, my friend ordered the Seafood Soy Sauce Ramen, and if I hadn't already been full, I would have been tempted to have another bowl myself because it looked incredibly enticing. My friend didn't leave a single drop of soup behind.
If I ever find myself in Raleigh again, I will definitely make it a point to revisit this restaurant. I appreciate their dedication to crafting delicious food and their willingness to offer a range of culinary options to cater to different tastes. The authentic Hokkaido-style ramen experience they provide is truly commendable. Thank you for the passion you put into...

The wife never does. The last eight times I've ordered there, she has taken my order, and always gives me the wrong thing, and then seems annoyed if I have a problem with it.
The husband is courteous, fast, and accurate. The wife is fast, and nothing else. I'm sick of always getting the wrong food from her.
Edit: Google isn't letting me respond to the review response. This was the location on Fayetteville St. in Raleigh. If they aren't husband and wife, I apologize for assuming. The rest of the facts presented are just...
Read moreOK, so I would say the food at Panda Express was better, but near the convention center there aren't that many choices and the price was reasonable ($5.99) the portions plentiful and they would substitute veggies (not exciting but they are veggies) for rice. "2 items" in almost all cases means the second item is 2 spring rolls so be careful. My guess is they would give you the tasty string beans instead. I wish there was another non breaded chicken choice but the chicken with broccoli was fine (if dull). The other less good for you breaded...
