Jasmin & Olivz Mediterranean - Falls Village — Restaurant in Raleigh

Jasmin is such a delicious place to eat. It’s honestly one of my FAVORITE places to eat. However... it really seems like the owners are lazy and uninvolved but I want to give them to benefit of the doubt. The one on Falls of Neuse has two very sweet employees who work there but both of them hardly speak English which isn’t an issue AT ALL in itself accept for the fact that they work in an environment that thrives on understanding and clear communication. I have celiac disease and asked SEVERAL times for them to not include pita in my tray because if it even touches my food I can become very sick. My husband watched them close the tray and bag it without pita in it. Somehow while his back was turned someone checked my tray and added pita. I’m sure they thought they were doing the right thing but the lack of communication could have made me incredibly sick. I’m writing this review as a red flag so people with severe food allergies can avoid getting sick.

Like I said... the food is amazing, the people are kind and they’re usually very quick to right a wrong. But I give this restaurant a one star review because ordering food there requires a ton of patience every time I go and if you have any food restrictions you need to watch your food like a hawk, repeat yourself way too many times and double check your tray.

This is the worst Jasmine and olivz in all of Raleigh! I live close to the restaurant and I have visited many time. The last time I had a pleasant experience with their food was 2020. I used to visit several times a week, but because of how bad they have gotten with their service I visit once every 4-6 months just to see if they change for the better. Somehow they keep getting worse! My last visit was 11/26/22 and I got undercooked food this time. I always get the same thing. It's either drenched in sauce, undercooked, or burnt. Every time I have came in for the past 2 years, they always have some teenagers who don't know what they're doing. Some 15 or 16 no older than 17 year olds with no restaurant experience. It has been like that for a long time now. I would take months apart from visit to visit in hopes to see a change. Now they have those same bad staff training the even worse ones. Bad food, bad staff, bad management. If you see anyone under the age of 25 in the store, just know you're about to have some bad food. I had it with this and will no longer come to their...

husband and i have been coming here for a long time. the past few visits have been chaotic and not super great. missing items, long wait and the all employees seem confused and uninformed.

the last crew that worked there had the place running like a tight ship! and we loved engaging with the staff!

this location has switched to making one order at a time? individually? this does not seem efficient at all. there is a sign posted explaining that they are doing this for “training purposes”. So we have 5 employees on the line making one individual order at a time and all staring at each other.

another comment are the tables. they possibly may need to be re-finished. they are perpetually sticky and never seem to come clean.

we love coming here and will still continue to support this location, but i am really feeling for the staff there. they seem to have no direction and look frustrated. i would be too!
