I use to come to this location a bunch when I lived around the corner. Now only every few weeks due to the distance. Ipurchased 3 sandwiches on Monday for my gf, kids and myself (the 4 year old shared with her mom). One of them was messed up and had mayo where I asked for none and didn't have pickles (pretty simple.) When I got home to eat I noticed the mistake but being that this location is about 6 miles from my house, I didn't feel like going back out that night and so I ate leftovers instead. Thursday was the first day I had an opportunity to go back to that location. I presented the uneaten (not a single bite) still wrapped in the sandwich paper and in the Jersey Mike's brown bag to the counter. I was told by a Darius, that he worked on Monday and doesn't remember my face as if he remembers every customer that comes in the door. Granted, I did not have my receipt, but call me naive, but I'm oblivious to rise in "sandwich fraud" that has criminals remaking uneaten sandwiches and bringing them into restaurants for a sandwich made correctly. Apparently Darius is on the forefront of this newepidemic 😐 and refused to exchange my sandwich. I thought that maybe he misunderstood what my intentions were, so I communicated that I DID NOT WANT MY MONEY BACK, and that although I didn't still have my receipt, I did in fact have the entirety of the sandwich. He reiterated that he couldn't help me without a receipt. I'm more annoyed by the fact that MOST restaurants understand that you may not have a rolodex of receipts from every cash purchase that we make day to day and so usually there's an exception when you are EXCHANGING the product. But the vibe I was getting I DONT WANT TO HELP YOU. He wasn't even rude about it, just nonchalant as if my inconvenience didn't really matter to him. I never got loud or made a scene. I said ok and asked him for his name and left. I've worked in food service before and have had my share of unreasonable customers. This was not the case. Just on principle, I doubt I'll be back to...
Read moreWhen I got to the store, two employees were sitting at a table with no masks on. One of the people behind the counter, apparently a new employee, took my order, also with his mask down until I asked him to put it on. The sitting employees went behind the counter to help the new guy. He did not have his mask on as he moved about the workstation. When I asked him to put on his mask, he went into the back and did not return.
The new guy smashed the bread flat as he cut it. I don't believe that he pit a full measure of tuna on the sandwich. I asked for onions, and he put a few pieces on. When he asked if I wanted anything else, I asked him for more onions and tomatoes. Looking at the sandwich it reminded me of a late night taco at Taco Bell that was all tortilla and almost no fillings.
Overall I was pretty disappointed about the staff's adherence to COVID regs and also the quality of the...
Read moreGreat location. This Jersey Mike's makes a great team. Everyone prides on customer service. Efficient. With great personalities too. They seem to work well under pressure during heavy lunch rushes. More than I have seen at other Jersey Mike's, so the manager must be doing something right!
That tall caramel Prince (in red shirt) they got working in there, with the curls? Shame he doesn't come with the sandwich combos, in a "to go" box. His pretty brown eyes sometimes distract me from what I wanna order on my sub, but that's okay! He can put his sandwich meat on my bun anyday. 😍😂😂 ❤💪
My favorite subs are the club and cheesesteak. I'm sure the other ones are great too.
And the sweet tea is yummy to my tummy. Unfortunately I feel like Winnie the Pooh when I walk out, but good food...
