It's funny. I pass by this place all the time looking for a new cafe to try but never really noticed it until Google maps recommended it. It doesn't stand out too much. Well I've been here twice now and let me tell you. The weekend is busy and full of people because of how popular they are so I recommend going during the week šŸ’– My first time was full of people and I couldn't really enjoy it ( it's a small place and not fit for very large groups but it was a weekend so I don't blame Jubala). The people were still very nice but I could tell they were rushed to make my drink and it wasn't the best. My second trip: Soo much better!!! The people were as nice and chilled back ( it was on a week day and not many people were there so I think they were able to take their time) also the layout is very planet friendly. I ordered my go to, an iced Vallina large latte. At first look, it's nice and has a cute logo. 10 out of 10. Now first taste? It wasn't the best but maybe it just needed more ice because the more I sipped the more I enjoyed it and realized it was cold just tasted warm at the top!? It's creamy and you could taste the vanilla though it's not as strong as other drinks. All in and All. It was still good and It was only 6 dollars (this is plus tax) with a tip making 7 dollars. Fairy priced. I recommend it if you want to treat yourself on a hot day which you know is common in NC July. ā˜•

Man I used to be SUCH A JUBALA fan! They had top-notch espressos and service was outstanding- loved people working there like Tim, Jensen, Autumn. The last 3-4 times my girlfriend and I have been disappointed. Speaking for myself, last time I went in I ordered a single origin espresso and both the gentlemen working behind the bar and his colleague gave me the ā€œhouse espressoā€ knowingly. Not even sure why, maybe it was late in the day and it required them to grind a separate batch but when I mentioned it wasn’t the single origin they both already knew…. Like, was it just an extra step for them? The next time my girlfriend went in to get a single origin iced americano for me only to be told at 2pm on a Saturday they were ā€œout of single origin espressoā€ I mean, come on, if anyone else out there is a coffee snob- you go to shops looking for something funky and fun- and it’s quite a disappointment when you are told the only thing available is the house blend. The last 3-4 times my gf got an iced caramel latte (yes a ā€œperfumeā€ drink) she couldn’t really taste any sweetness or caramel in it, she has requested extra caramel syrup but it still doesn’t do the trick. Even I don’t like things too sweet but this drink was lacking. Hate to say it but I would choose black and white all day over Jubala - MUCH better service, friendly atmosphere, quality coffee, and ALWAYS has single origin espresso. Love you folks but come on, Jubala you can do better. Seems like they are in the game to make money not...

Coffee is great, but the place is often too crowded, and I feel disrespected. It's one of those places that edgy looking girls in cashiers have condesending attitude, and you are consistently working on to make them pleased for no reason. I always tip at least 20 percent if I sit and eat. Last time, I ordered a "to go" order. I was also broke and did not tip for "to go and also, I am a student and probably earn less than those girls. The girl in cashier intentionally looked at my screen and did not reciprocate my "thanks" after seeing no tip. I had to tell my name 2 times. In the end, I became the only customer still waiting for their coffee as they called me with a name that was super unrelated. Yeah, good food/ coffee, but not going there again. It was such an awkward moment. It was the end of the day, and I was the only customer left. I have waited to hear my name and not to be disrespectful touching someone else's coffee, and they said nothing but letting me wait there, knowing that the only coffee was my coffee. I don't think they are that stupid. My job is not to comfort or please your workers. That's their job. Telling my name and giving me my coffee does not require tips in take out. I am literally punished to have a cold coffee after waiting for 10 minutes that was sitting right in...
