Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Raleigh

Pizza is pretty good, most everything else about this place is aggressively bad. We’ve probably ordered from here a couple hundred times since 2017, and they have messed our order up at least half of those times. Every employee below the corporate level seems to be apathetic at best, and more often openly hostile toward unhappy customers. I’ve had to get corporate involved twice due to issues including hostility from a store manager and employees being visibly under the influence of drugs while working.

We’ve given Marcos chance after chance because the food IS good, but after they took over an hour to deliver a pizza tonight and the “district manager” responded to a complaint with more of the same sarcasm and contempt (and the order was wrong on top of everything else), I’m done. I’ll go elsewhere moving forward.

It’s obvious there’s no oversight or accountability anywhere at Marcos, and customer satisfaction is right at the bottom of the priority list. I’m sure this review will get a generic “apology” from the “owner,” but, well, several years’ worth of unfortunate actions speak louder. I recommend you...

While the pizza is good. The service has been pretty terrible lately. The hours on their website are never correct, even though their message system directs you there for info. The past 4 orders I've put in online either have been kicked back or accepted and then I was called to say they weren't taking any more orders. I called the order in this past time and the guy on the phone was incredibly rude and acted like I was annoying him the entire time. We confirmed that I would pick up at 9:30.. and then proceeded to tell me that my oder would be ready to go in 15mins. I reconfirmed I would be there at 9:30 and then hung up on me after confirming the time HE offered me. At exactly 9pm (they close at 10 per there website), and left a voicemail saying they can't make the pizzas I chose and askedme to call back to change the order. I called back 4 minutes after and they had turned their phones off and I got the voice message they were closed . If you don't want to make food later at night- dont post hours that day you do. Ordered pizza at 7:18, it is now 9:20pm on a Monday and no pizza! The store closes at 9pm. There is absolutely no excuse! Marcos is a favorite for my children, but never again. We always participate in the school fund raisers, never again, and I will lobby the PTA to find another partner. The food was to arrive at 8:10, children are screaming. Called twice and still no pizza! Seriously pizza no sauce add cheese! How difficult is that? Never again, we have been a loyal customer since they opened, never again. I would rather deal with Manhattan, Papa John’s, Pizza Hut or Dominos - they have better customer service and deliver on time or with in reason! If you lost my order fine, if it did not come through fine - do not lie about it is on the way and still 30 minutes later, not here!
