UPDATE: DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! I was correct when assuming the employees were running a scam operation at the drive thru. They stole my debit card information with a scammer and then sold the information. My entire bank account was cleared out. I am completely broke because of this. McDonald’s has done absolutely nothing to help. I reported my claims the day this happened. Nothing was done about it. And then my money was stolen the next day. I’ve tried to get in touch with a human on the phone at McDonald’s. Almost impossible. I hope the employees read this message. I also hope every McDonald’s goes to robotic automation and fire every single one of these employees. Absolute losers.
This is by far the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to in my life. It’s so bad that I had to go a couple time just to see if it’s actually as bad each experience. Yep! It’s just as bad if not worse each time. I could write a novel just on each bad experience at this specific location. But for now I’ll stick to my latest experience.
Sat in the drivethru lane for over 20 minutes. Finally get to the window to pay. They swipe my card. Hand it back to me. I get a notification on my phone that I was charged. Employee says “it declined”. I respond with “are you sure? I have right here that I was charged and it did go thru”. She responds with “ohhh welll nahhh not right here it ain’t”. I could barely understand her and to me it wasn’t worth arguing so I said “okay well let’s just try again”. She swipes my card again. I receive another notification that I was charged. I’ve now been charged $40 at freakin McDonald’s. She then says “it declineeee sir”. So then I said “ok no it didn’t. Here is my bank statement.” Turned my phone to them showing clear as day i was charged twice.
Manager comes over and says “wat the problem sir?” I said “well i I’ve been charged twi…” she interrupted me and said “ohhhh naaaahhhhhh i see what you be sayin’ buh dat not wat it be sayin’ on our eenndd. So u ain’t gettin no food unless our system say so” so i proceeded to once again show my bank statement saying “well it’s been charged so i need my food” she then shuts the drive thru window and starts talking on the phone. Then opens the window and says “i talk to my boss and Dey be sayin it decline and you ain’t getting food” at that point I drove off.
There is a reason why McDonald’s is testing out AI and robots to open up automated stores. I truly hope all stores go automated.
Do not go to...
Read moreI have never experienced such disrespect and lack of professionalism as I did with both the cashier and manager. I arrived to get breakfast and saw the sign which I took a photo of that offered the double fish filet meal for 5.09. I made my order and it rung up as 6.99 plus tax. I asked the young lady why the price difference she explained the drinks are no longer the same price. I replied well give me the medium instead of the large, I would like the meal described for 5.09. She changed the drink from large to medium but the price did not change. She then in a very hostile tone told me the price went from 5.09 to 7.57 because of tax. I explained that was not accurate because tax is not that high. By now she has repeated its the tax in an exasperated tone several times and we are not getting anywhere. I say ok and pull up to the window she tells me again as if Im not 40 years old how tax on a 5 dollar meal works. I ask to speak to the manager she says hes right here standing behind me. He steps in with an attitude. He begins telling me about tax, I try to explain again that the price of the meal must be wrong on the display, he tells me not to get an attitude with him because he does Not have to serve me. I have never had someone so excited to pull a power move about a fish sandwich. He never listened that the problem was the price on the display and the cashier. He chose to think I couldn’t understand that there should be tax on a meal. They both failed to realize there is a screen you watch your order on and it clearly showed the meal 1.90 over the price advertised which was the problem. I have never been ignored and talked to like I’m stupid over something so simple in my life. For the manager not to be able to take 2 minutes to actually hear the problem before getting in his feeling and acting like an unprofessional child with a prize. You do not have to worry about me missing a fish sandwich my chic fil a meal made me late because I wasted my time with you but it tasted fabulous and the service was...
Read moreWaited about 7 min in line after ordering. Paid, drove forward, waited to get drinks, waited, told about 3 min later "drive forward." I drove forward to wait beside the door. 10 min later, still no food. I park go inside and stand at thecounter waited.......eye contact from 4 people, no acknowledgment. I ask "is anyone going to ask why I'm standing here." Eye contact from employee, he sips on his cup, cuts his eyes to employee who pops her head up from behind the wall. I ask for a manager, manager waves as if to say, just a min. She is the "only" one of the 4 employees in the food zone that is scrambling to fix the obvious issue. The whole "team" is talking and laughing amongst themselves. One of the workers comes out of the restroom, walks by, no acknowledgment. Then after another few seconds, I ask for a refund and to finish my order. As I am talking to the manager, explaining that I had been waiting for 10+ min in the drive thru. I explained everything above. She was very apologetic. However, I was frustrated that instead of being acknowledged, not once by any employee, each employee made eye contact with me, two were on their cell phones, IN THE FOOD AREA. Then when the male employee walked by he explained that "if I had something to say I should say it to his face." Well, I did. I repeated the exact thing I said to the manager "while I walked in you were chomping on ice, laughing with your coworkers, you made eye contact with me and pulled your cell phone out multiple times." He was the cleaning guy and didnt want to touch my food he explained! I agreed with him and said "I don't want you to touch my food either, but you are in the food preparation area sipping on your cup and on your cell phone!" The manager asked him to walk away. He apologized and understood my comment. Finally, my money was returned and the manager, very apologetic. If it wasn't for that manager, this McDonald's would go down hill fast. The entitlement and lack of customer care from your employees...
