20SEP18 - The store gets 5 stars. The Operations Partner, Jamie, gets 3.5 stars. The older lady (corporate?) in yellow… 1 star. Way to pushy and interruptive to be in a customer facing organization. Instead of helping Jamie she pushed me aside and insisted her cart be addressed. The shift-lead, Bry (?? I think), she gets 10 stars. She runs the place. If she is the one waiting on you, you’ll be fine. She needs a raise! The cashier, 4 stars. The on-line group ordering system, -5 stars.
EDIT – I went back to the order from my office to see if I missed something… found that the system was waiting for me to enter a card number… no email, no reminder, nada. This was my first time using this system. I assumed I’d pay at the store once the order time had ended. So I’ll move the on-line ordering system to 0 stars.

I work in the triangle, it’s a 10-15 minute drive to this Moe’s on a good day. With lunch traffic, it can be 30 minutes. I was getting food for a large-ish group, 11 or 12 people. We used the online group order page. Great concept, gets to the 5-yard line then fumbles… I chose to pick up my order at 11:00. We had an online webinar that started at noon. I should have had plenty of time; pick up the food, 30 min to get back, distribute the food, make the webinar connection. The online order system failed. Noting was sent to the store. Bry copied all the orders from my phone onto stickers and had everything made. Awesome job!
Moe’s fails – ** Handing me 10 cups to get my own drinks is a policy for online group orders…? Sell me bottles. Filling and carrying 10 drink cups in my car will not happen again. ** The cashier failed in not giving me the cups until the order was complete… almost 45 minutes. And the drink machine was empty of diet soda. Bry to the rescue. ** Jamie failed in that I was given the standard receipt coupon for $3 off my next order after standing there for over an hour waiting on my food. My total...
Read moreI walked into this location, with it being my 1st time ever eating at this particular Moes I was very disappointed in the response I got when I asked for more rice. Worker put 2 scoops of rice in my bowl then began asking what else did I want, I then asked if I could get more rice and I was given an amount that obviously looked as if giving more rice just wasn’t what they wanted to do, obviously wanting more rice doesn’t mean scoop a half oa spoon full and put in my bowl I was looking to actually get more as in a fair amount, after asking again for more rice due to the 3rd scoop being just a half a scoop I was them told I’d be charged which I felt was ridiculous because all I wanted was a fair amount of rice in my bowl, why should I be charged extra for an amount that should’ve been given to me anyway? Just ridiculous. Then I’m encountered by another rude woman who buts in my conversation with my gf as I tell her “yes baby you were right they don’t like to give out a fair portion” then my girl friend responds to me as we walk away from the register saying “yep see why you should’ve went to chipotle“ after that the cashier then says while laughing in front of another customer “chipotle cost more” I then responded to her from the drink section saying in my girlfriends defense “yea but we don’t care about the price, if the portion is more and yes chipotle actually gives you way more food smart mouth” then me and my girlfriend proceeded to walk out of the restaurant. Regardless of what a customer may say if it’s a conversation between 2 customers I think it’s completely unprofessional to dip in the convo and respond if the customer or customers are talking to you especially when it has nothing to do with Moes or you as the worker, so far her to even be speaking to my girlfriend while my girls speaks to me was very uncalled for. I’ll never...
Read moreI've been going to Moe's for years, and as much as I love them, the last 2-3 times I went, I ended up getting sick afterward (not just an upset stomach either). I'm talking about all the things that come back up or go down and leave your body faster than you can blink your eyes, so I'll save you the horrific details.
At any rate, my wife and I ended up getting a couple of Buy One Get One Free coupons and decided to give things another whirl (she never had an issue). Thankfully, the last 2 times we went, I was O.K. and the food was good. I think there was an older staff there that didn't give two F's about the holding temperatures of their meats, and they turned a little sour.. I know all too well as I used to be a Su Chef, Food Safety Specialist, as well as a BOH (back of house)/ Kitchen and FOH (front t of house) Manager for over 10 years (even spent time in Fast Food) as I'm sure I could run their line by myself with my eyes closed.
With all of that said, I'll start making a trip back every once in a while, but with their burritos turning into $12-$16 dollars plus tax now... I'd rather just go to one of my favorite local Mexican spots (with MUCH BETTER ATMOSPHERE and customer service) and get a Burrito, Chile Relleno, and Enchilada with rice amd beams as well as MUCH BETTER chips and that delicious white queso for $10 bucks.. LOL 🤣
Sorry, not sorry, Moe's, but I went to your store at 11 am, and they had 9 stacked boxes of nasty, oily pre-made chips that were all stuck together and they likely serve them till closing.. Every time I get your chips, they are oily and stale as F.
Again, decent food, but it's way too expensive, especially with the lackluster half scoops of meat you put in everything now). I felt like I ate a veggie burrito lmao 😡. Oh wait, that's probably why I didn't...
