I would like to start off by saying that generally, I thoroughly enjoy Moe's. But I will never visit this specific location again. I work in the area, and I used to frequent this location 1-2 times a week. About 6-7 months ago, as I frequented this location there was a drastic change in the quality of food. I was repeatedly getting burnt chicken in my bowls and burritos. The chicken was charred and there was large chunks of char in the food as well. It was as if they scraped the grill straight into the container. I was consistently receiving stale chips, charred chicken, and old lettuce. I was incredibly disappointed with my food over and over again. The first time I thought it was fluke, maybe they were having an off day. But after visiting 4+ times after the initial incident, I decided not to go back. Today (9/18/18) I received a birthday coupon on the Moe's app for a free burrito. I decided I would give it one more try as this is the closet location to my place of employment. I truly wish I hadn't. My burrito was horrible. Every piece of chicken was charred so badly I couldn't even chew it. You can't even make out that it is chicken. (see photo for reference) The rice was way under-cooked. It felt like I was eating raw rice. The tortilla was stale and hard, I had to continuously rip pieces of the tortilla off in order to eat it. And the chips were stale. I don't typically write reviews let alone negative ones. I understand that everyone has bad days, and sometimes the food isn't perfect. But after a number of visits and no change, I assume this is now the standard for this location.

The experience was utterly abysmal, marked by a complete absence of customer service. From the moment we approached to order, not a single person acknowledged our presence, rendering the interaction devoid of any warmth or engagement. It felt as though our requests were met with indifference, hastily processed with minimal attention. The individual tasked with training exhibited a dismissive attitude, treating our inquiries as burdensome distractions from her other duties, despite being on the clock. The environment itself was far from hygienic, with not a single table being wiped clean, necessitating our own impromptu cleaning efforts with napkins. This disregard for cleanliness and customer comfort reflects a blatant disregard for the patrons who sustain the business. It’s disheartening to realize that genuine customer service is a foreign concept to those employed in customer-facing roles, highlighting a fundamental misunderstanding of its importance in shaping the success or failure of a business. Such neglect not only tarnishes the dining experience but also contaminates the quality of the food, underscoring the inseparable link between service and culinary satisfaction.

I've been watching this place rapidly decline over the past few months, but this most recent trip was something special. They've run out of the Queso "Cups", so their solution is to just pour some queso in 2 of the small size containers, but of course charge the same price as the larger size. All of the chips were hard, stale fragments presumably several days old. They were out of various ingredients, the "Freestyle" drink machine was out of almost every drink option, with the exception of Peach or Raspberry sprite. They haven't had the tea or lemonades for the last several visits, and their salsas are regularly out/bad. We have a different staff member each time we visit, so this is clearly just hilariously bad mismanagement of this location rather than a specific staff member. If you're wanting Moe's, avoid this location, it's worth driving out to one of the Cary or Wake Forest locations over this one.

Stopped by today to get some grub with my boyfriend. First Impressions were not great, dirty tables, overfilled trash, no ice (and I guess that means no drinks too?) and the worker at the counter was interesting to say the least. First off, major health code violations here. She was chewing gum, had NO hat on or net covering her hair and was touching EVERYTHING with her gloves, hair, apron, register, brooms, it was awful. Then we ordered. I asked politely for her to change her gloves before she made food. She looked at me like I was crazy and like I had insulted her. I did not; I simply don't want my food being handled with dirty gloves, not to mention I have a gluten allergy. (Cross contamination can make me very sick, too!) I have a gluten allergy and I am usually accommodated by a corn tortilla/taco. I mentioned to her my allergy and asked her for a corn taco and without hesitation she said "what is that?" I was confused as, it was a Moe's, a Tex-Mex Restaurant and they have corn tacos. Employee company knowledge is very important! I asked if they were behind her and she didn't understand me. She scoffed very rudely and said "nope". She then proceeded to roll her eyes and give very rude gestures such as crossing her hands across her chest and kept being very rude and short with me about my order. I asked again if she could look for the corn tacos and or tortillas and she simply said there is none. At this point I was very fed up with the lack of communication and or decency and decided to just skip and order my boyfriend's queso. I asked for said queso and she said "Will that be all now?" in a very demeaning way. I ignored that. She proceeded to look at my boyfriend, who was holding my hand, and got very flirty and bubbly all of a sudden. She asked him how his day was and got very friendly. My boyfriend was made very uncomfortable and asked for a burrito. She responded with what I think is the best customer service, that I should have gotten too, "I would LOVE to. What would you like on your burrito, sir?" I kinda laughed because a second ago, she treated me as if I was scum on Earth. She made his burrito with absolute LOVE and was very friendly to him. "I really hope you enjoy your burrito, sir, have a wonderful night!" I was very confused as to why her behavior switched with my boyfriend as she was very rude to me. When it came to paying, I pulled out my card and she then processed payment. She asked if I would like to leave a tip and I said no, and she scoffed AGAIN. I was very much offended by this experience and could not begin to understand what that employee's problem was. I have never dealt with an employee as rude as this. She then used the same gloves she used with us, the register, putting a receipt in the trash; to make someone else's order. This is unbelievable. We ate, left and have decided to not come back to this location. I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews, but there needs to be some serious action taken against this woman. I would like to be contacted...

Has got to be the worst moes in the Raleigh area. The staff is very slow and rude, and it's clear they couldn't care less about your food being hot and prepared the way you want it. I only go to this one because my wife loves the Jasmin and Olivez Mediterranean place nextdoor. But anyway, several times I've been here and the place is completely empty, even at prime dinner time on week nights when most moes would be full. They are constantly out of items like mushrooms or the new potatoes moes is offering. So when you come here, you often times end up getting a meal that has a few items missing from it that you really would like to have. You can only say "sorry we've been understaffed, or out of this ingredient" so many times. Whoever owns this location clearly doesn't care at all, or they would fire everyone who works here and get a staff of people that have a work ethic and actually want to make good food and keep items in stock so they're never missing an item. Whenever i go to other moes, if they're out of mushrooms or any other item they will prepare more for you, but this place they just stare at you "oh, sorry, we're out of that." Disgraceful staff that works here, and because of it, the food is also quite often not very hot and fresh when it's served to me. There's a reason this place is empty all the time and customers end up coming in, then leaving and going somewhere else when they're told that they're out of the food they want, or don't have the ingredients they want. Do yourself a massive favor and go a few miles down the street to the moes on the corner of Durant/Falls. It's way way better run, and the food is always hot and tasty and they always have all the ingredients, and if not they will make...
