Great neighborhood-feel bar. It's tucked away around the corner at Gatewood Plaza with a really cool vibe on the inside (it's from the same owners as Person Street Bar). Plenty of available parking which is always nice. Inside you'll find a large bar with plenty of seating. Down one hallway is the game room - complete with 2 pinball machines, a couple of arcade games, a pool table, two dart boards, a TV that they let you control the remote, and a shelf full of board games. Down another hallway there is a intimate seating area with a couch and some comfy chairs. This leads into a private inner courtyard with tables and chairs. It was so much bigger than I thought it would be. Drink selection was wide, with 10 beers and ciders on tap, another 10 or so in cans and bottles, and a full cocktail menu. Everything was reasonably priced. I went on a Tuesday night when it was fairly slow and everyone working there was incredibly nice. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful place and the owner is great guy! We had our networking event for ASIS Chapter there yesterday. (Security professionals from the area) Owner was very gracious and provided great service. The location itself is really unique in its décor and set up. Loved the metal and wood combination and outdoor area. I am looking forward to going back and strongly suggest others to go check it out!

We are new to the area and were looking for a good local bar. The bartender Lucius definitely made us feel like we were at home, and served us delicious drinks and beers. We met some really nice people at the bar that were locals and regulars. The vibe was perfect for us and we loved the location near other places that we could walk to. We will definitely be back!

Natural Science is the most perfect addition to the bustling Gateway Plaza shopping center and East Raleigh community!!!! Im the type of girl that loves going to the bar to see my friends, connect with my neighbors, drink a cheeky beer, and experience bliss and achieve nirvana. Boy does Natural Science provide this!! The space is huuuge and the patio is coming along lovely, besides the fact that the new mural does look somewhat like the female reproductive system #equalrights. The wonderful game room, friendly staff, vintage furniture and funky artworks are all cherries on top. Could not...

Totally forgot to take photos as we were there for a birthday get together! Bar is super hard to find IMO. Tucked into back of a strip mall and not really visible in terms of signage.

Interior decor is a whole vibe. Clean, random “natural science” themed decor, open, mixed seating styles, etc.

Bartender/owner (I later found out) is knowledgeable and only stocks great products.

Very much enjoyed my time there. Would go regularly if it was a bit closer to...
