Although I have not ordered as many pizzas from this location during the past year, I have ordered 200 to 300 pizzas from here over the past 20 years. I call up for a take out and asked how much a large would be and was told it was $12.99 plus tax. I questioned the charge because I have never paid that much for a pizza below. The simply explained to me the "deal" I was getting because the standard charge for the pizza was $16.00. I went back and forth with the guy a few times and he never explained the reason for the charge or offered to change it. I found out from another store that it should have been $11.00 because that store like almost all Papa Johns are not franchise. I called back and explained my indignation over the way the call was handled and the manager (she really was the on duty manager), blew me off explaining that the high charge was due to the fact that PJs is transitioning away to giving the better deals to online customers. Not only was the answer BS because I got a $11.00 pizza from another nearby PJs but I told her that I was offended by the fact that she did not care about my complaint. This store and that same manager took no action against a driver of a old burgundy beater car driven by a wreckless driver that almost ran me off the road about 5 months ago (I know because they were back in my neighborhood 2 days later). The only reason I went ahead and got a pizza last night was because my wife really wanted it. I will not be ordering as much from PJs...
Read moreOrdered delivery for a group while on vacation, asked for driver to call cell since delivery was at hotel. Driver did not call upon arrival and was not in lobby, left food at desk with hotel manager. Received a call 40 minutes later, accused of non payment by someone at PJ location. Advised driver was nowhere to be found, did not reach out directly and left hotel and food in the lobby before we could get down to pay. Was told driver would come back for payment, confirmed ok. Instead of calling cell, room number was call by hotel manager seeking assistance. Driver was vaping/smoking in hotel lobby and had to be asked to stop by night manager. Went back and forth regarding conflict, driver misunderstanding ticket was paid and had been calling, only 2 calls had been made from the drivers phone and they were within the minutes we were looking for them in the lobby, round 2). Cash was provided for payment, driver refused to give change (over 15$ leftover, said they had no change) and asked if money could be kept as a complementary tip. Had I not been accused of stealing due to something that was obviously their error I would have been fine, however the customer experience overall was horrible. Thankfully was able to get change from front desk. Please work on better coaching training for handling...
Read moreThis place is awful and customer service horrible. After I waited an hour for my three pizzas, they delivered two pizzas that belonged to someone else. I had to call back three times before they stopped hanging up after I was placed on hold. I spent twenty minutes trying to explain that I was not Mr. Blank and I didn't order a pepperoni and sausage pizza and definitely not a pineapple and sausage. They agree to remake them pizza. The new pizzas arrive an hour later. The lady from Door Dash refused to give me the pizza, demanding she be paid $56. I told her I paid online and showed her my receipt. She claimed she had to contact Door Dash because the last time, they took her money out of her check. I had eight kids at a sleepover hungry. I said, "ma am atp. Just keep the pizzas, but I remembered the kids needed to eat. The whole time, she is holding the pizzas in her hand. Door Dash tells her to give me the pizzas fifteen minutes later because I already paid.. She insisted that they update her account because she doesn't want the $56 coming out her check again. The pizzas was cold and horrible. I will never order...
