This location switched to a new mobile order only method, meaning you can only order food through the Taco Bell app (are they all like this now?). I had a terrible experience with this app ordering. For one, I had no idea so myself and many others pulled up to yhe drive through order mic and then the workers are read to tell you on speakerphone that it’s mobile order only. OK, so I left immediately the first time because I just wanted food and though it was preposterous that they wouldn’t take my order. The second time I was ready and wanted to try the mobile ordering. I chose drive-through pickup. When I pulled in they weren’t ready and had me pull over to a parking space to bring out. It took too long although the worker was kind and explained the ice machine was flying by the seat of its pants? Anyway, they seemed to be rushing around, unable to take orders so prep and delivery to vehicles, took longer than expected for fast food, and when I got home I noticed they forgot to add chips to the chips and cheese, so I had a big clear container with a puddle of cheese in the bottom. Whoever made the sudden call for mobile orders only should probably be fired. At least train your employees better. Put up some better signage. Maybe wait until better marketing has gone out. This was a mess and the manager, or higher level operations people should be held accountable. This had the signs of a hasty decision that is seemingly unnecessary.

I really don’t like the kiosk only ordering Taco Bell is moving to. This was place had to be the slowest Taco Bell I have ever been to, ever. It was not that busy. Was not over run with grub hub orders, so slow. One guy came in after me. They said it would be minimum 30 minutes for his food. A guy before me said he had already waited 40 minutes. Fortunately I was just burning time and visiting with family at the table so the wait didn’t matter. But pretty ridiculous for Taco Bell. My food did come out warm and correct. So there is that.

First, I was being rushed in the drive thru by 2 diffrent people. One was being a little sarcastic with how they was asking me if I was ready to order. Against my better judgement, I didnt say nevermind with my order after the sarcasm. I ordered a little over $30.00 worth of food that included a #8 without lettuce. I received 3 soggy taco's with just meat and cheese. If your gonna rush you customers at least get their order right.

This review is for the 6404 Glenwood Ave Taco Bell location. We placed an online order. When we went through the drive thru, my partner told them the last name on the order. They said they couldn’t see any order and that we should wait 15 minutes. We did that, even though we’ve never had an issue with having to wait like that before. We did that, then went back through the line. Again, my partner told them the last name on the order. They said they didn’t see any order for that name. My partner was confused and feeling overwhelmed, so she explained that she’s disabled and ordering through the app is the most convenient way for us to get food, so she just wanted to try to understand what was going on because our Taco Bell app said the order was received. Then as soon as my partner mentioned her disability, the manager got on the speaker, and immediately began to speak to my partner in a patronizing, disdainful tone. She began talking to her slow, and in a tone like someone would use when scolding a child. She said “there is no order by that name, could it be under a different name?” My partner then told her the first name on the order. Then the manager says, “yes I have that order” in a tone suggesting that it should have been obvious. So then my partner asked, “are you not able to see our full name on the order?” The manager became even more patronizing, talking to my partner like she was five years old. She drew her words out and spoke even slower saying, “No, if I could have seen that, then I would have found your order.” My partner then said, “I don’t understand why I’m being spoken to like this, I’m just trying to understand.” And then the manager replied “No one is speaking to you any kind of way ma’am”, despite the fact that her tone continued to become more and more patronizing and degrading throughout the interaction. At this point, I was about to get really angry so I just canceled our order and we drove off. I have never witnessed such a patronizing, degrading interaction in a drive thru before. So, just a heads up, the manager here is definitely not the best at customer service. And apparently when you place an online order, they can only see the first name on the order. If that was the case, why wouldn’t they mention that right away when we told them our last name? Regardless, the way this was handled was completely uncalled for. The moment the manager came over the speaker, she treated my partner like a child who was in trouble for something, and acted like she was stupid for mentioning the last name on the order. The whole thing was completely...

6:30pm employees standing outside gathered around talking while there is a long drive through line, once employees went back inside I got out of the drive through and I went inside tried to place my order. One girl said the dining room was closed and walked off (later found out this was the manager on duty) she then told another girl to go ahead and take my order, as I was ordering another customer tried to come in they met him as he was walking through the door and told him the dining room was closed very rudely. He made a very valid point and asked why is this not posted anywhere and he also stated he had been waiting in the drive through line for 15mins only to be told they are only taking mobile and online orders only as he is saying this the manager is telling the employee to the close the door. She didn’t apologize for any inconvenience or offer any apology whatsoever. After placing my order I was told they were out if ingredients to make my order supreme so I no longer wanted my food and asked for a refund. The manager took her time before she turned around to acknowledge me and start the refund process. As she starts the process of refund I’m looking behind the counter at the employees making the food and I am now thankful Im getting a return because it looked absolutely disgusting in the food prep area. She turned around and asked for my debit card swiped my card and gave the card back to me and attempted to walk away and I asked for a copy of my receipt she stated she could not give me a copy but I could see it. Sounded a bit odd to me but I took the receipt and snapped a picture of it for my records. I then left. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE! NEED NEW MANAGEMENT AND CLEANER...

We found out yesterday that this location is no longer open to the general public. Delivery companies ONLY! We ordered on their app yesterday and waited almost an hour for picking up our already paid for order. Initially no mention was made at the drive up of their non public status. We were told we ordered we didn’t order anything. NOT true. We eventually got to the window and showed them our phone order for THAT location. They said we would have to get a refund from the app. We asked for a manager. She said they didn’t care that we had paid (already cleared the bank) We asked why, manager said no service , shut and locked the window. By this time all cars had given up getting food and left. We called the police to explain we had paid for food online and the staff refused to serve us or any other drive up customers. We waited out front for the police. We told the officer that obviously this was a civil matter, but we wanted to know why they weren’t serving customers in the middle of the day. The officer spoke to the manager, who explained they were NOT serving the general public, only the delivery services. NO signs Anywhere said this and their app was taking orders (ripping off these customers who in good faith paid and showed up for their order) We thanked the officers for their assistance and went home. I’ve ordered from this location for +20 years and am sad their level of customer service is not deserving of 1 star. They deserve 0 stars. We tried calling their national office, but it’s constantly busy. I guess we’re not the only ones to be angry with TB. 4 weeks later, still waiting for...
